Whether you know it or not, there are emperors in the north and prime ministers in the south. What is the reason? I see

Looking at the ancient history of China, you may find an interesting phenomenon, that is, northerners tend to be emperors, while southerners tend to be prime ministers. As soon as this statement is put forward, it will naturally remind people of the problem of feng shui. The so-called "one side of the soil and water, one side of the people" may have its truth, but does this have anything to do with Feng Shui? We can't define this. However, we might as well analyze some aspects of the founding emperor first, and perhaps get some inspiration from it.

It can be divided into two periods. In these two periods, the results caused by geographical factors are different.

1. Before five wild flowers, when iron was not popularized and the hilly areas in the south could not be developed, the plain areas along the Yellow River could easily form economic centers and political centers, so the natural emperors were all in the north.

2. After the Five Wild Areas, due to the flat terrain in the north, nomadic people easily invaded and established a conquering regime. Then from the Sui Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, all unified regimes except the Ming Dynasty were established by northern nomads through conquest or groups with nomadic backgrounds.

The ancient nomadic people had absolute advantages over the farming people militarily. Therefore, after conquering the northern plain from north to south, it won the agricultural support from the north, and at the same time it had a greater chance of being conquered by cavalry, thus establishing state power. So there are obviously more emperors from the north.

First of all, Qin Shihuang was born in Handan, Hebei. Gaozu Liu Bang, a native of Fengyi, Pei County, now belongs to Pei County, Jiangsu Province; Liu Xiu, the founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, was born in Cai Yang, Nanyang, and now belongs to Zaoyang County, Hubei Province, at the junction of north and south. Wendi was born in Huayin, Hongnong County. Tang Yuan, born in Ji Cheng, Longxi; Zhao Kuangyin was born in Jiamaying, Luoyang in Song Dynasty, and his ancestral home was Zhuozhou, Hebei. Needless to say, Genghis Khan in the Yuan Dynasty and Kublai Khan in Yuan Shizu came from the north. Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty and Jong Li of Haozhou; The Qing Dynasty was a feudal dynasty established by the Jurchen nationality. This is the second period in the history of China ruled by ethnic minorities after the Yuan Dynasty.

Because there is only one emperor, there are many prime ministers in every dynasty, especially in the Tang Dynasty. According to the records of the twenty-four histories, from the Qin Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, there were 1503 worshippers for more than two thousand years. Southerners served as prime ministers in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Western Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms, the Jin Dynasty, the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasty. Although Zhao Kuangyin in Song Dynasty didn't use southerners as prime ministers, he began to use southerners as prime ministers in large numbers after he arrived in Song Zhenzong. Wang Qinruo, Ding, Lint and Chen Pengnian are all southerners. In addition, in the Ming and Qing dynasties, because the position of prime minister was abolished by Zhu Yuanzhang, there was no such position, but the right of prime minister existed, just by dividing or changing another position name.

In ancient China, due to the early development of the north, the social system, patriarchal clan system, human geography and other aspects were ahead of the south. In addition, many times the north is the political, cultural and economic center, and northerners are brave and good at fighting. Therefore, regime change generally occurred in the north, resulting in more emperors. In the south, the mind is more liberated and active. I remember a better saying from Confucius, that is, "the benevolent enjoys Leshan, and the wise enjoys water". What do you mean? In other words, kind people like mountains and mountains, and wise people like rivers and streams. Many lakes are the geographical environment for cultivating the wise, while mountains and plains are the geographical environment for cultivating the benevolent.
