(1) Zhongqingfeng Zhongqingfeng, commonly known as Bangque Mountain, is located at the top of the mountain to the east of the Summer Resort. There are many beautiful legends about this strange peak, such as "Dragon Lady Tree", "Golden Hoop" and "Optimus Prime". "Zhongqingfeng" was named after Emperor Kangxi. Kangxi believed that this strange peak was the "Zhongqing Peak" cast by Luohan (referring to Luohan Mountain) on the side of Wulie River, so it was named "Zhongqing Peak".
Zhongqing Peak is 596.29 meters above sea level, with a peak height of 58.42 meters and a clear height of 38.29 meters. About this spectacle, Li Daoyuan once recorded it in Zhu, calling it "". Besides hiking, you can also climb zhongqingfeng by cableway. The total length of Zhongqingfeng cableway is1620m, and the whole journey takes 42 minutes. It is the longest hanging chair ropeway in China at present.
(2) The toad stone is a huge stone, about 14 meters high and about 20 meters long, which looks like a toad. There are two caves under the boulder, which are connected from north to south and connected from east to west. This is one of the top ten scenic spots in Chengde-Toad Stone. Looking south from the Qing peak, the stone peak separated from the Qing peak by a valley is the toad stone.
(3) Shuangta Mountain Shuangta Mountain is two strange peaks, located about 10 km west of the urban area. The Petronas Towers are 488 meters above sea level, running north and south, and the two peaks stand side by side. The north peak is about 35 meters high, the south peak is about 30 meters high, and the distance between the two peaks is 4 ~ 5 meters. From different angles, the two summits give people different visual associations. There is a tower-shaped building at the top of each of the two peaks. When, by whom and how the tower was built is still a mystery.
Around Shuangta Mountain, there are many natural and cultural landscapes, which constitute today's Shuangta Mountain Scenic Area. Its landscapes include: double turtle tower, lying dog beam, ape-man stone, Errenzhuan, Zimuyan, Yuanyang stone, Yishan and so on.
(4) Yuanbaoshan Yuanbaoshan, as the name implies, looks like an ingot. It is a stone peak, about 30 meters high, about 150 meters long from east to west, and 562 meters above sea level. It looks like an ingot, and its wall is as steep as a knife, so it is impossible to climb it. Yuanbaoshan is located about 8 kilometers west of the city.
(5) Sengguan Mountain Sengguan Mountain is 650 meters above sea level, which is the highest mountain in the south of Chengde City and the highest point of natural barrier in Chengde City. Therefore, the mountain looks like a monk's hat and was named "Sangguan Mountain" by Qianlong. The Nanshan Mountain in the thirteenth act of Kangxi's Thirty-six "Nanshan Snow" is this mountain.
(6) Banbishan Banbishan is located in the south of the urban area, and its southern slope is soil, and the slope is very slow. This slope faces the urban area and is as steep as a knife, hence the name "Banbi Mountain". Banbi Mountain is the natural barrier of Chengde Mountain City, and there is a "Kuixing Building" on the mountain. Visitors standing on the top of the mountain can have a panoramic view of the mountain city.
(7) Luohan Mountain Luohan Mountain is the Dongyue in the mountains around Chengde. Because it looks like an old monk sitting on his knees, it is called "Luohan Mountain". Luohan Mountain faces east and west. Emperor Kangxi believed that the chime peak was thrown by this arhat, and the monk Guanshan was thrown by this arhat. There are also many beautiful legends about Luohan Mountain.
(8) Jiguan Mountain Jiguan Mountain is also called Wuzhishan Mountain. This mountain consists of five stone peaks in a row. "Chengde County Records" records: "The scenery of the five peaks is as tired as a cockscomb." It refers to Jiguan Mountain. The five peaks of Jiguan Mountain are as steep as a knife, and the highest point is 936 meters above sea level. The mountain is too steep to climb.
(9) Crocodile Mountain Crocodile Mountain, also known as Huilong Mountain, is located in the southeast of the urban area and faces Banbi Mountain across the river. If you climb halfway up the mountain and look around, the mountain looks like a crocodile, which is very realistic. As for the name "Huilongshan", it is because there is an interesting legend to the effect that Qianlong passed by here during his southern tour. A python, thinking that he had a successful practice, asked Qianlong to name him Dragon. Gan Long naturally won't agree. The name "Huilongshan" came from this. After this legend, the local people also built a "Huilongguan", and the cave on the mountain was also named "Python Golden Cave".
(10) The so-called overpass in Tianqiao Mountain refers to the natural stone bridge across the top of the mountain. This bridge is about180m long and 6m wide. There are two natural arches under the bridge, one of which spans about 25 meters and the other is about 6 meters. The whole overpass is natural. This is Tianqiao Mountain, one of the top ten natural landscapes in Chengde, and Tianqiao Mountain is located about 20 kilometers east of the urban area.
The wonders of Tianqiao Mountain are amazing, even more amazing. Under the arch of the overpass, there is a statue of Shi Niu, which is said to make a cow cry. What is the truth? Curious tourists might as well climb the back of Tianqiao Mountain's cow to experience it. When you feel the cow shaking gently and making a soft cry, you will feel what is called "I'm glad you came".
