I was lucky enough to attend a gathering of Guru Rinpoche on September 14 I was having dinner with my brothers and sisters from Xizhimen. During the dinner, we were talking about the disadvantages of tattoos. Suddenly I remembered something that a classmate from college said. I will briefly describe it here to warn the world.
I have a roommate in the dormitory of the university. When he was chatting, he found out that I was reading Buddhist books (I had not converted yet), so he mentioned that a cousin of his had a tattoo on his back a few years ago. Buddha statue. One day about a year later, his family heard him yelling in the toilet, and then there was no movement. When the family opened the toilet door, they found that he was lifeless and had no external injuries on his body. He was less than 30 years old. He died inexplicably like this. The family members were very sad. Later, perhaps to comfort themselves, they actually thought that he had merit by carrying the Buddha on his back, and the Buddha took it away - all living beings are so stupid!
My girlfriend died unexpectedly in a car accident. Is this related to changing her profile picture when she got an angel tattoo on her back?

This is how it happened——
My wife and I have always had the desire to get tattoos for the past two years. I think it is cooler. , but I have always been cautious about this matter, so I have not taken any action and have been putting it off. Later, I met a girl named Cao from my work unit who had many beautiful tattoos on her body, so I asked her about her tattoo status. She said she could introduce me to her friend, who was a better tattoo artist, but she also told me not to get tattoos blindly, as it would be easy to get into trouble if the tattoos were not done well. Then she told me the story her tattoo artist friend told her.
She went to her friend’s place for touch-ups. The friend chatted with her and said that something happened to her tattoo some time ago. He pulled out the photos and screenshots and told her: A man went to his place to get a tattoo and chose one. The image of an angel with wings wanted to change the angel's avatar to that of his girlfriend, and gave him the photo. He didn't agree with it at first, saying that this was not good, but the man insisted on doing it, but he couldn't resist it later. He tattooed it on his back. After several tattoos (I thought it was all done in one go, but later I found out that the area was relatively large and it would take several times and several days to complete), the line drawing was basically completed, and then he went to smoke a cigarette and take a rest. While he was resting, the man received a call saying that his girlfriend had died in a car accident in the afternoon...
After I converted, I learned that the body cannot harm itself, otherwise it will be a crime. After taking the fourteen fundamental precepts, I feel like I’m in a cold sweat just thinking about it now. I’m grateful to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas for their blessings!

My friend’s friend got a Guan Gong elephant tattoo. He was hit by a car and died soon after.
