Because they know what they say is not true. The fact is that they can't predict anything. They may observe what they say, but the world is dominated by the laws of nature represented by Newtonian mechanics, not the yin-yang and five elements. Living on the infrastructure established by modern science, we should stop being superstitious and give these people no more opportunities to cheat.
