One hundred and forty years, in the blink of an eye. Time goes back to the midwinter lunar month of the Gengchen Year of Guangxu (AD 1880), when the sky was covered with snow and the land was vast. The Prime Minister's Hall is draped in linen and wearing filial piety, and the wind and trees share the same sadness. The Gong family lived far away and passed away for eighty and four years. He returned home at a very old age and left his legacy to the descendants of Yongzhao! Xiang Gong has made great achievements throughout his life. Li Weijun, the leader of the township, wrote a biography and praised: "Three chapters of singing katydids, the descendants of Xuan'er are vibrating; singing three chapters of Lin toe, calling and sighing Lins..." (from the Book of Songs, which means that the descendants are prosperous and prosperous, and people are prosperous. Generosity and kindness)
? Yuan Xiangong, nicknamed Xiangting, was born in the Dingsi year of Jiaqing (1797). Xiang is very talented, extremely intelligent, has four books and five classics, and is full of Chinese studies. He was kind-hearted and brought good things to his family. As a rule, the Qing court awarded him the rank of Dengshilang.
Xiangong married the Liu family, a member of a distinguished family. He lived and established a stable life, worked diligently and frugally, and purchased hundreds of stones of land in Fen, the thirty capital of Song Dynasty. In the Renchen year of Daoguang, a large house was built. The successor of the Zhong family, in the Renzi year of Xianfeng (1852), another mansion (today's Xiangtingtang) was built. Huaxia Chou Mountain faces Genkun. It faces north and south, surrounded by green mountains and green water. It leans against Hetang Mountain in the back and looks at thousands of acres of fields in front. The horizontal dragon stretches out on the left side, and the golden water meanders along the right side. It is said that "there are official peaks in the beautiful ridges, and the dragons and water bring prosperity to the people." It is a truly special Feng Shui treasure land!
In the sixth year of Xianfeng (1856), the Taiping Army invaded Longquan (now Suichuan), and the county annals called it "Bingchen Rebellion". The Qing government's army launched numerous encirclement and suppression campaigns without success, and the war spread to the Huangkeng and Zuo'an areas. Xiang Gong summoned the elders of the country gentry to donate hundreds of dollars in military pay to the county government, making great contributions to stabilizing the current situation in Longquan. Xiang Gong gave generous gifts to the public, raised funds and encouraged donations, and led the crowd to build the Huangkeng Longevity Palace, accumulating good deeds and lasting fame.
? The situation in the late Qing Dynasty was turbulent, and bandits and thieves often disturbed the villagers. When the Xiangonglu tribe was robbed, they always prepared dozens of loads of rice to appease the bandit leader. A thief robbed Xiang Gong's residence late at night, but found no money. Xiang Gong knew Taiyi well and gave him three silver coins, which can be seen as a glimpse of Xiang Gong's kindness and compassion.
Xiang is also a model of filial piety to parents. My father, the Grand Master, suffered from a stroke when he was seventy years old. Xiang has been waiting at the bedside for three years, taking care of every detail. The tribesmen and neighbors praised him.
Xiang Gong gave birth to seven sons, the eldest son Qingzhang, and the second was Confucian. The second son, Qingqi, was highly skilled in traditional Chinese medicine, Qihuang. Qingyi, Qingyu, Qingli, Qingheng, Qingyan, or Jingkanyu (Feng Shui), or run a private school, or open a Wuxiang (martial arts school), or be a merchant. There are twenty-three people from Lan and Sun, all of whom are Confucian, literary and martial arts, and are outstanding. Today there are nearly 400 living descendants. There are leaders in all walks of life.
Xiangong was buried in Fenyin Mountain of Song Dynasty, and there was a golden cave in the corner of the earth. The concubines Liu and Zhong were buried in Junshan and Huangxi. Throughout his life, Xiang Gong accumulated virtues and benevolence, and his merits were perfect. Although his great achievements are not recorded in the annals of history, they can still be passed down through the ages and be remembered by future generations.
If you think it is good, please give it a thumbs up and all the appreciation fee will be donated to the reconstruction of Xiangtingtang.
