Luyang District, belonging to Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the north-central part of Hefei, with the old city as the core, extending in a fan shape to the northwest, with an area of 137.6 square kilometers (including 70 square kilometers of Dongpu and Dafangying Reservoir water surface and water source protection areas), with Yaohai District bounded by Banqiao River in the east, Feixi County in the west and Baohe District and Shushan District in the south.
