White hair is caused by the decrease of melanin particles in the medulla and cortex of hair or air filling. Under normal circumstances, there are abundant blood vessels in dermal papilla, which provide sufficient nutrition for dermal papilla and hair bulb, and melanin particles are successfully synthesized. When the formation of melanin particles in papilla and hair bulb is hindered, or melanin particles in medulla and cortex of hair cannot be transported to hair due to some factors, white hair will appear.
