Xuanzong was furious and was about to send warriors to exorcise ghosts when he saw a GREAT GHOST running into the temple. This ghost is covered in hair and looks terrible. He wore a horn belt on his head, a blue robe, a leather coat on his feet, and bare arms. When he reached out his hand, he grabbed the child, gouged out his eyes and swallowed it. Xuanzong was terrible. He asked Xuanzong who was GREAT GHOST and claimed to be Zhong Kui of Zhong Nanshan. During the reign of Emperor Gaozu Wude, he was ashamed to return to his hometown and died by touching the steps in front of the temple. Fortunately, Gaozu gave him a green robe to be buried with him. He was deeply touched and vowed to rid the Tang Dynasty of evil spirits. After Tang Xuanzong woke up, his illness soon recovered. Xuanzong ordered painter Wu Daozi to paint a portrait of Zhong Kui according to what he saw in his dream. As shown in the picture, Xuanzong approved in the painting: "The coffin should be a dream, and the disease should be completely paralyzed. Martyrs should be rewarded for exorcism; Because the pictures are different, it shows that there are divisions that can be driven away at the end of the year, so it is appropriate to get to know each other again, which can ward off evil spirits and is conducive to evil spirits. Still tell the world, I will inform the Committee. " On the orders of our company, we engraved Wu Daozi's "Zhong Kui Gui Tu", which was widely awarded to the world and let the world know the great power of Zhong Kui. Two: On the left in front of Tian Zi Temple in Fengdu, Sichuan, there is a Zhongkui Temple. The god worshipped in the temple is Zhong Kui, the ghost king who specializes in catching, splitting and eating ghosts in folklore. Zhong Kui's reputation has a lot to do with the Tang Emperor Li Longji. It is said that one year, when Emperor Tang Ming returned to the palace from Lishan tinker, he suddenly became seriously ill. The doctors tried their best for more than a month, but there was no turning point. Late one night, Ming Taizu dreamed of a child with a cow nose, dressed in red, with one foot in boots and one barefoot, with boots hanging around his waist. This boy stole Yang Guifei's purple sachet and Ming Chengzu's jade emperor. Li Longji saw great anger and shouted at him. At this moment, a GREAT GHOST suddenly appeared, wearing a hat, a blue robe and a horn belt. He immediately grabbed the child, gouged out his eyes with his fingers, and then tore the child in half and ate it. Emperor Tang Ming quickly asked GREAT GHOST's name. GREAT GHOST made a prelude and said, "I am Zhong Kui, a scholar in the south. I died in the corner of the temple because I couldn't lift it. After my death, I became a ghost king and vowed to get rid of evil spirits in the world. " When Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty woke up from his dream, Huo Ran woke up, so he called the great painter Wu Daozi and drew a picture of the ghost gate according to what he saw in his dream. After painting, Li Longji stared for a long time and said, "Aren't you dreaming with me? How can it be painted like this! " Wu Daozi was immediately rewarded, and this painting was hung at the back door of the slaughterhouse to suppress evil spirits. In the novels of Qing Dynasty, Zhong Kui's story is tortuous. According to the book, he is a scholar in the south of Shaanxi. He is ugly and scary, but he is very talented. Take the exam in Beijing for one year without adding any words. The examiners, Han Yu and Lu Zhi, were surprised after reading it, so they were awarded the top prize. Unexpectedly, Tang Dezong judge a book by its cover and was very unhappy after seeing Zhong Kui. So he listened to Qilu's slanderers and wanted to drive Zhong Kui out of Longyan City. Zhong Kui flew into a rage and committed suicide on the spot. Tang Dezong was very remorseful, so he exiled Qilu and named Zhong Kui "exorcist" and traveled all over the world to exorcise evil spirits. Zhong Kui made great contributions to the elimination of ghosts, and was named "exorcist" by the Jade Emperor. The legend of "Zhong Kui married a younger sister" is also widely circulated among the people. Zhong Kui's good friend, Du Ping, was brave and took out a silver coin to help Zhong Kui have a try. Zhong Kui was dismissed as the top scholar by the emperor because of his ugliness. Hit the price in a rage and died. Du Ping, who took the exam with him, gave him a grand funeral. After Zhong Kui became the ghost king, in order to repay Du Ping's kindness before his death, he personally led the ghost back to his hometown on New Year's Eve and betrothed his sister to Du Ping. This is the famous "Zhong Kui marries a younger sister". "Zhong Kui Marrying a Sister" has become an important theme in ancient paintings and dramas, and it is widely welcomed by people. In fact, there is no Zhong Kui in history. Zhong Kui originated in Zhong Kui, an ancient wooden stick used to exorcise ghosts. After Zhong Kui became a deity to ward off evil spirits, his portraits became popular from the court to the people. Not only will Zhong Kui be hanged during the Spring Festival, but he will also be invited to ward off evil spirits during the Dragon Boat Festival.
