Flamingo (Shou), Sanhu (Lu) and Arowana (Fu)
Fire fish, tropical fish, fish scientific name: Cichlasoma citrinellum, alias Shouxingtou, Shouxingyu, native to Nicaragua, Costa Rica and other places in Central America, belonging to the family stickleback, with a body length of 20-30cm and similar body shape to goldfish. The head is big, and there is an obvious round sarcoma above the head, which is different from others. The body color is pink, the young fish is gray-black, the adult fish becomes fiery red, and the body color is changeable, sometimes orange or yellow. The feeding water temperature is 22-28℃, and the bait includes fish worms, water worms and small live fish. The aquaculture water temperature is 27-29℃, and the water quality is weak acid soft water. The parent fish matures for 6-8 months. There is a big sarcoma on the male fish head, which is as bright red as fire, while the female fish is lighter. Each time it lays 200-500 eggs, smooth rocks or marble slabs are used as nesting sites.
Its tall forehead looks like a birthday girl, and its character is rough, so it can only be mixed with big fierce fish. In Southeast Asia, some people put flamingos, three tigers and arowana in a jar, which is called longevity.
