In the Spring and Autumn Period, Danyang was the territory of Chu State. In 222 BC, Qin Shihuang pacified the Jiangnan area of Chu State and set up Huiji County, which governed southeastern Jiangsu and eastern Zhejiang. Danyang was also changed to Yunyang County. Yunyang county is so small. I don't know how hard Qin Shihuang worked to destroy the "imperial spirit" here at any cost.
It turns out that Qin Shihuang did this for his own reasons. When he traveled to Danyang, he followed historians to speculate that Yunyang had "Wang Qi". So Qin Shihuang was very afraid that the emperor would come out of Danyang to compete for his land, so he immediately ordered to break the "Feng Shui" in Danyang.
One of the "measures" is to change the name of Yunyang County from "Wang Qi" to "Kui". The second trick is to change the section of "Huijichi Road" that passes through Danyang into a winding path leading to a secluded place, that is, deliberately make the straight road into a winding path leading to a secluded place to break the "royal spirit" of Danyang. The name was changed and the road was finished, but the alchemist's prediction finally came true.
430 years after the death of Qin Shihuang, Sun Quan, the first emperor of the Three Kingdoms, appeared in Danyang. Sun Quan's ancestral home is Fuyang, Zhejiang Province, and his ancestral home is Qu 'a. His grandfather Zhong Sun made a living by growing melons in Danyang and was buried in Baihe Mountain. His father, Sun Jian, was buried in the original site of Wuling Port, Danyang, with the tomb name Gaoling. During the Southern Dynasties, two generations of founding emperors appeared in Danyang.
One of them is Xiao Daocheng. His name is Shao Bo and his nickname is Jiang Dou. He was born in Xiaojiaxiang, Fangxian Town, Danyang, Southern Dynasties. At the age of 56, he was buried in Taihe Mausoleum, Qiaohu Lion Bay, Danyang. The other is Xiao Yan. His name is Shu Da, and he was called Liang Wudi in history. He is also from Xiaojiaxiang, xian county Town, Danyang. He died in 549 at the age of 85 and was buried in Linlin Jingsancun Lane, Danyang.
