One-day tour of Laoshan Island in Chaohu Lake

Laoshan Island is located in the middle of Chaohu Lake, Chaohu City, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is the largest island in the lake, with an oval terrain, a perimeter of about four kilometers, an area of 1 square kilometer, and the highest altitude of 1 15 meters. Known for its magical, beautiful and unparalleled ecological environment, it is the core scenic spot of Chaohu Lake tourist area and a famous tourist area in central Anhui.

Main attractions: There are ancient pagodas, gutang and ancient boat pond on the top of the mountain. There are three pavilions on the mountain, namely "Looking at the Ancient", "Looking at the Tiger" and "Looking at the Eyes".

Nantang: At the southern foot of the mountain, there is a natural harbor with good shelter from the wind, formerly known as Nantang, which was built at the end of the Yuan Dynasty when Yu Tonghai and Liao Yong 'an, the generals who fought against the Yuan Dynasty, led the navy to the old mountain village.

Shengfei Temple: Shengfei Temple built halfway up the mountain overlooking the lake, dedicated to the goddess of the main lake, built in the Jin Dynasty.

Wenfeng Pagoda: There is a famous Wenfeng Pagoda at the top of the mountain, which was built in the fourth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (163 1).
