If you want to make it easier to drill holes in the wall, use an electric hammer or impact drill. The square size of the hammer head (drill bit) tail is basically the same, but the hammer head and tail part of the impact drill has straight grooves and U-shaped grooves according to different models. However, some impact drills match the hammer head tail with a cylindrical shape and a straight groove.
According to the required hole size, buy a 6, 8, or 12 mm hammer head. Households generally use 6mm plastic expansion plugs, so buy a 6mm hammer head. Heavy ones such as range hoods use 8mm expansion plugs. If it is larger than 8 mm, use iron expansion bolts.
You can also use a hand drill to drill holes. Buy a special alloy drill bit for hand drills. But it takes a little effort, and you need to hold the electric hand drill hard to get deep.
