To explore the factors related to the speed of water evaporation

Equipment: water at different temperatures, glass sheets, hair dryer.

Steps:

1. Put 1 drop of water on two pieces of glass respectively. The temperature is different. The one with higher temperature will evaporate first. Conclusion: All other conditions being equal, the higher the temperature, the faster the liquid evaporates.

2. Put one drop of water on two glass pieces respectively. One of the droplets will spread out. After a certain period of time, the droplets will evaporate. Conclusion: All other conditions being equal, the larger the liquid surface area, the faster it evaporates.

3. Put 1 drop of water on two pieces of glass respectively. Spread the two droplets to have the same area. Blow one of them with a hair dryer, and the one with the hair dryer will evaporate first. Conclusion: Under other conditions being equal, the faster the air flows on the liquid surface, the faster it evaporates.
