Sheng Da Tower Anhui Guangde

Tianshou Temple, also known as Kaihua Temple, is located on the north side of East Street in the urban area. It was founded in the God Blessed Period of the Tang Dynasty (905-907) by Fayuanzong Zen Master. It was originally named Tian Tong Temple (named after Song Taizu Zhao Guangyi).

Song Jianzhong changed to Kaihua Temple when he was in Jingzhou (11kloc-0/).

In the 30th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1602), it was known that He Fengqi raised funds to build the pagoda for five years, and then it was changed to Tianshou Temple. During the Jiajing period, there was a "Monk Zhengsi" in the temple, which was a famous ancient temple in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui at that time. There, incense flourished, and Buddha worshiped Sakyamuni and Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guta Temple is a new building with unique China style. It is said that it was built by "soil piling method". It has been a symbol of Buddhism for a long time, and it is a treasure place to worship "Buddhist relics" and "Feng Shui". Unfortunately, it was destroyed in the Japanese invasion of China, and the bodhisattva could not protect herself, so the temple disappeared. The main hall, Confucian room and monk's house were all burned down, leaving only a brick tower standing on the old site of Tianshou Temple, which became a historical witness of vicissitudes. From the third year of Fuyuan to the fourth year of Chongning (1 105), a seven-level pagoda was built. It is a pavilion-style building in the south of the Yangtze River, with brick and wood structure and wind chimes hanging from overhangs, with a height of 31.34m.. It was renovated twice in the thirty-fifth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1607) and the seventh year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1668).

Guangxu twenty-six years (1900) was destroyed by fire, leaving only brick towers. 1June 1983, an "underground palace" was discovered. The underground palace is a brick pit with a depth of 1 10 cm and a square side length of 32 cm. There is a stone tablet in the palace, engraved with the origin of this tower. 1986 Rebuilding the Great Sage Pagoda. The restored Daxian Pagoda basically maintains its original features, with seven floors and six sides, hexagonal cornices and a chain-shaped tower top, with a total height of 42.8 meters and a base area of 46 square meters. The ground is paved with blue bricks, and wind chimes are hung at the eaves of each floor, which sounds pleasing to the ear, and the seven-level pagoda reproduces the scenery.

There is a ladder in the tower to reach the top floor and have a bird's eye view of the mountain city. At the same time, the tower courtyard, exotic flowers and herbs, bonsai rocks and exhibition rooms will be built to display historical relics. For tourists to visit.
