Hexi Village, Gubeikou Town, Miyun County, Beijing is located in the northeast of Beijing, upstream of Miyun Reservoir, bordering Luanping County, Hebei Province. Its original name was Liu Linying. Hexi area has always been a part of Gubeikou. Although it was called Liulinying and Xizhen in Qing Dynasty, it was never divided and ruled. 19 1 1 year later, it was divided into east and west by the Chaohe River. Formerly known as Gubeikou Hexi,1960s was referred to as Hexi Village. There are two east-west main streets in the main village, which are divided into Qian Jie and Houjie. Houses are located on both sides of Qian Jie and Houjie. There are several large vegetable fields in the middle of the village. These vegetable fields were the Senate yamen, the garrison yamen and the guerrilla yamen of the Qing Dynasty, but they were all destroyed by the warlords' scuffle, leaving only a large clearing. Because local villagers think that private houses have no geomantic ability to suppress the foundation of yamen houses, they dare not build houses on them, so they have to grow vegetables, thus forming a unique open space and layout form in Hexi Village.
There are 6 natural villages in Hexi Village, with more than 560 households, 1.600 people. The village is located at the foot of Wohu Mountain, surrounded by mountains. It is a small basin facing south. The tidal river in front of the village surrounds the village like a jade belt. The mountain in front is called Qinglong Mountain, and Hexi Village is really a treasure trove of geomantic omen. Hexi Village has beautiful natural environment and rich cultural landscape. There are Lvzu Temple, Mosque, Prefectural Office, Senate Office, Garrison Office, School Military Field, Commander's Desk and many garrison landscapes in the village, covering an area of 6 square kilometers. It is a village with 130 surnames and 7 nationalities. The cultural heritage is profound.
