The god of wealth can make money, and Guanyin can keep peace, so many people will worship the god of wealth and Guanyin at home, especially those who believe in Buddhism. The basic practice is to say that the God of Wealth and Guanyin Bodhisattva are offered together, but if conditions permit, it is best to offer them separately, and there should be a distinction between primary and secondary worship, so as to better protect peace and gather wealth.
In addition, if you sit in the north-south direction, Guanyin is on the left (east) and the god of wealth is on the right (west). Because Guanyin is a Buddhism and the God of Wealth is a Taoist god, both the Buddha statue and Guanyin are slightly bigger (or taller) than the God of Wealth.
If you worship gods, in order to show respect, you should also worship them in a more respectful posture to show respect. Many people worship God at will. Although they worship God every day, they will not be sheltered by the gods.
The taboo of idolatry
1. Don't pile up any sundries on the table dedicated to the gods. Be sure to keep it clean. You can clean the altar every half month. Dust falling on idols can be brushed off with a dry towel or a soft brush. Remember not to wipe idols with wet towels.
You can't put your idol under the beam. If there is a beam above the shrine, it will be crushed, which will depress the fortune of the house, which is very unfavorable to the feng shui fortune of the whole house and disrespectful to idols.
Behind the wall of the shrine, it is best not to face the kitchen, especially the side where the gas stove is placed. Otherwise, the smoke fills the air, and the fire will inevitably pass through the back wall, which will make the wall hot and make the idol uneasy.
