The workers thought that the broken head of the Buddha statue was unlucky and unwilling to support this arhat, so they asked Mr. Lin to replace it. Unexpectedly, Mr. Lin said with a smile that the Lohan in the whole Lohan Mountain is the most effective Lohan. He blocked dozens of tons of cars with his body and miraculously saved people. Instead of supporting him, you threw him away. What is the truth? So I ordered someone to find the head of this arhat, let the craftsman reinstall it and spray a golden body, just like a brand new one. Therefore, these farmers often come to worship when they encounter important things at home, which is very effective and quick. This story has also become a much-told story in the construction history of Luohan Mountain.
If you come to Luohan Mountain, you can find this Luohan Mountain. This arhat's finger is pointing at his neck, and people in Luohan Mountain affectionately call it "broken-headed arhat". Sanbaotang is one of the "two dragons" in Luohan Mountain, and it is the best place for geomantic omen in Luohan Mountain. Long before the construction of Luohan Mountain, there was a statue of Maitreya in Xiangshan in the Ming Dynasty. It is said that this Buddha statue is very effective, so Mr. Lin later built a Buddhist temple specifically for this Buddha statue and became the first temple in Luohan Mountain.
After two years of construction, there are nearly 200 arhats all over the mountain, which has begun to take shape. So at the invitation of Teacher Lin, the host of Nanputuo led the monk group to prepare a grand opening ceremony for Luohan Mountain. This is also the first time that Nanputuo held such a large-scale opening ceremony for a layman. This temple, as the great hall of Luohan Mountain, usually dedicates to the Sambo Buddha, and the Maitreya Buddha in the temple has been dedicated for many years, and the opening ceremony is just around the corner, so Mr. Lin plans to build a Buddhist temple specifically for the Sambo Buddha in the future.
Unexpectedly, just two days before the ceremony, a bizarre fire broke out in Sanbaotang. It is said that when there is a fire, only smoke can be seen, but no light can be seen. When Mr. Lin Zhiliang rushed to the mountain and pushed open the temple gate, only some residue was left on the table and the walls were blackened. Less than two days before the ceremony, Mr. Lin immediately contacted the largest Buddhist store in Xiamen at that time and asked the boss to do his best to invite the Three Treasures Buddha. It's also wonderful to say. In just over a day, the boss invited the Three Treasures Buddha, which was suitable in all aspects, so everyone rearranged the Buddhist temple and successfully held the opening ceremony.
Afterwards, Mr. Lin asked the living Buddha about it, and the living Buddha said it was a good thing. Although it was a fire, there was no blood and no casualties. In fact, it was this Maitreya who took the initiative to give the best place on this mountain to the Sambo Buddha, and then everyone suddenly realized.
Mr. Lin is a very grateful person. He was very grateful to this Maitreya, so he not only dedicated a small Maitreya on the altar of Sanbao Hall, but also specially built a golden Maitreya statue with respect of 8 tons on the mountainside. Let people remember the story of Maitreya forever. Nowadays, anyone who comes to Luohan Mountain can see the solemn and kind Maitreya Buddha statue when going up and down the mountain.
At that time, the Buddhist temple itself was not damaged except blackening, and the time was short, so there was no big decoration. So when we go to the Sanbao Hall, we can still see the traces of blackened walls and windows. This story has also been passed down as a much-told story.
Note: Sanbao Hall, also called Sanbao Hall, is equivalent to the main hall of the temple. Buddhism regards Buddhism, Buddhism and Buddhism as three treasures. Here, due to the positioning of Zen culture, nature and humanity, reality and illusion can collide, blend and render. In the evening, I strolled along Luohan Mountain in the sunset, deeply feeling the charm of "the vegetation is covered with Buddha's light and auspicious, and the mountains are stained with the aura of scripture". It is said that there are four magical tourist routes in Luohan Mountain, which were specially set up by Cai Angrong, a Buddhist practitioner in Taiwan Province Province, according to the different needs of believers, combining tantric practice with Taoist health preservation and the five elements of Feng Shui, in order to achieve health, happiness, fame and fortune and career. These four blessing routes all have their own methods of praying and paying homage, and even the climbing time and walking steps are very particular. These four prayer trails include Eighteen Arhats Trail and Guanyin Avenue respectively. Happiness path, concentric lock; The road to fame, step by step; The path to success, the shortcut to success; It is said that it is very effective, and many believers finish it after their wishes are realized.
Because most of the Buddha, Bodhisattva and Luohan statues in Luohan Mountain are supported by good people, there are many legendary stories on Luohan Mountain, and even there are many legendary stories behind each Buddha statue. It is precisely because of the protection of different buddhas and bodhisattvas that different scenic tourist routes have different memorial ways and different emphases. The following is an introduction based on the regular tourist routes of Luohan Mountain. "Let people remember you forever" and "Luohan" group carvings are set in the background of 12, where nearly a thousand Buddha statues of laborers are placed on the mountain. This sculpture is about 2 meters high and nearly 6 meters long. Chen Xiaodong of the Art Department of Fujian Normal University spent more than two months creating.
At first, there was no road on the mountain. These arhats, each weighing several hundred kilograms, were picked up by these migrant workers with wooden poles and hemp ropes. I used it for nearly 10 months. Although the project is huge, it has created a miracle of zero accidents. These migrant workers are all villagers in the nearby Miaoshan village. In order to thank them and commemorate them, Mr. Lin Zhiliang erected this statue in the most conspicuous place in Luohan Mountain Square. In addition to the commemorative significance of this statue, we can also find a charitable donation port at the lower right. Yes, this statue is hollow, and it is also the largest and most awesome merit box in China at present. It will be held once a year under the witness of all the staff of Luohan Mountain. Mr. Lin Zhiliang donated all the money here to charity. Let people from generation to generation always remember those who have contributed to Luohan Mountain, and let the grateful heart pass on this great love. Landscape Music Art Square 20 12 was just completed in June. The original intention of building this square is to let the surrounding villagers have a rich modern cultural life like the city people, so this outdoor stage is first-class in terms of sound, lighting and teachers. Mr. Lin Zhiliang hopes that people who come to Luohan Mountain and nearby villagers can dance happily under the beautiful night scene of Luohan Mountain every weekend, enriching everyone's spare time and improving villagers' cultural and artistic accomplishment. There is a large square dance here for three consecutive nights every weekend. The villagers nearby will bring their children to participate, which is very lively. Leading everyone to dance is the Luohan Mountain star group "Luohan Legend" composed of national dance coach Sunshine (Angrong Sunshine), teacher Rainbow and three dance lovers.
Mr. Lin Zhiliang hopes that they will become the founders and promoters of energy dance. At the same time, Mr. Lin also hopes to spread health and happiness further and further with Luohan Mountain as the base and energy dance as the carrier. After entering Longmen, you are greeted by a whole row of exquisite Mo Bao stone tablets of Diamond Sutra, which are precious Mo Bao carved according to the original manuscript of Diamond Sutra written by Mr. Lin Zhiliang. This promenade along with Mo Bao is the famous Lohan King Kong Confession Avenue.
The Prajna Paramita Sutra, also known as the Diamond Sutra, is a calligraphy work with a height of 3 meters and a length of more than 30 meters, with more than 5,000 words. It took Mr. Lin Zhiliang ten days and ten nights to write it in one go with an extremely rare font, which is rare in the world and extremely precious. It is also the treasure of Luohan Mountain.
The original works are properly collected in Luohan Mountain and will only be welcomed in a few major celebrations. Many celebrities in calligraphy and religious circles, friends from all over the world and many tourists have come from other places, Hongkong, Taiwan Province Province and even abroad, hoping to have the honor to see this treasure with their own eyes. In order to let more tourists enjoy this Mo Bao, Mr. Lin received this incomparable blessing. So I asked craftsmen to use the merit of October to carve a beautiful stone according to the ratio of Mo Bao 1: 1 and put it on display here, which made people stare at it at first sight.
The Diamond Sutra is an important Buddhist classic, and it is known as the king of the scriptures (some people call it the father of the scriptures). According to different versions, the full name is slightly different. Mr. Lin wrote the translated Shurangama Sutra. King Kong's confession is based on the Dharma of King Kong Prajna Paramita. In Buddhism, it has the function of getting rid of past sins, removing dust and cleaning dirt. As soon as the believers entered the Dragon Gate, they got this reward of "Confession of King Kong", and they all liked Dharma. They lost Fu Lin and won a great victory! Many believers come here to make wishes and pray.
When walking in the Vajrayana confession, if your hands are folded and your eyes are slightly closed, you will default to a wish, then slowly walk forward, stop at a place with great feelings, turn around and walk towards the stone tablet, and stick your hands on the stone tablet until your forehead is touched. The word on your forehead is the opener of your wish, which is said to be very magical and effective. Seven-star array is called seven-star array, and six crystal balls are placed in an equilateral triangle which is upside down and overlapped, with a larger crystal ball in the middle (representing seven stars such as sun, moon, Jin Mu, fire, water and earth).
Qinglong Seven-Star Array is the most powerful array in the Seven-Star Array. It is made by the layman Cai Angrong, and it combines Taoism, tantric geomantic omen, Taoist magic and divination. This array condenses energy on Lohan and brings the magnetic field to the extreme, covering the whole Lohan Mountain, which can purify the magnetic field of the whole mountain and eliminate personal negative energy. People who are sensitive to energy will feel different when they stand down for 4-5 minutes. Mr. Lin Zhiliang said that the temple was built after the Mazu statue was built. This Mazu was originally auctioned by Christie's auction company in Hong Kong. According to textual research, it is probably from the late Tang Dynasty, and it is a very rare Buddha statue with a seal. There are two seals on her left and right skirts. On the left is "Qinghe Zuodu (to be certified)" and on the right is "Yanzhou". It is speculated that Mazu was made by Song Qinghe in Yanzhou. However, Yanzhou is a mysterious place in history. In the Tang Dynasty, Yanzhou was once in the same place as Lingnan Road. However, historical documents not only record the date of its establishment, but also record its evolution and abandoned prospects. Yanzhou's whereabouts have not been mentioned since the Five Dynasties, as if it had disappeared. It is said that it was renamed to avoid taboo, because it is very similar to the emperor's name.
Mazu's discovery is of great research value to historical archaeology, attracting many archaeologists and historians to make textual research. Besides, I'll tell you a secret. The statue of Mazu is hidden and can be opened at the back. Once opened, her life story will be revealed, which may solve the mystery that Mazu originated in Guangdong and southern Fujian. On both sides of Mazu Tempel, there are four heavenly kings, also from the Ming Dynasty. Lotus Palace is the Dojo of Tibetan Buddhism in Lotus Lohan Mountain. It used to be a cave, and later the Lotus Palace was built to worship lotus peanuts. Lotus nut (Sanskrit, born in lotus) or lotus nut.
Lotus peanut, transliterated in Sanskrit as Batmasambawa, is an Indian monk. In ancient India, King Chisong Dêzain of Tibet sent a special envoy to invite Master Lotus Peanut to enter Tibetan law. He is an important figure in the inheritance of Tibetan Buddhism in Qianhong period. Maning Buddhism, a Tibetan Buddhism, is the founder of the mountain, and is often regarded as Master Lotus Peanut, Master Lotus Peanut and Master Rinpoche (meaning Master Rinpoche). It is the embodiment of the body, mouth and heart of Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva and Sakyamuni Buddha. Being honored as the second Buddha in Tibet, it is deeply loved by Tibetans. It is said that Master Lotus Peanut was born on a lotus flower in the sea, so he is also called Ocean King Kong. Master Lotus Peanut has eight kinds of disguised forms in order to popularize all beings, also called Lotus Teacher Eight Changes.
Lotus Palace is protected by Xu Lifeng, a yoga master. Master Xu is knowledgeable and travels around the world. There are also many friends who are looking for ways to communicate with others, themselves and the environment, and are interested in Buddhism. The pagoda in front of the Dharma Hall is the Luohan Mountain Pagoda, which is used to worship and place relics, scriptures and various instruments. Everyone sees a picture on each side of the tower, and each picture represents a word. They are Fu, Lu and Shou He.
Buddha statues of Sakyamuni in the Tang Dynasty are enshrined in Buddhist temples. It was bought by an old woman in Hong Kong for 600,000 yuan a few years ago. Grandma thought that Lin Dong had a good relationship with her, so she transferred it to him at the original price, which was very precious. Next to them are a pair of disciples (Ananda and Ye Jia). According to textual research, the two Buddha statues were originally a pair, but somehow they separated, one in Taiwan Province Province and the other in Hongkong. Fortunately, Lin Dong got them back and let them return to their hometown. If you browse Luohan Mountain from bottom to top, and then from top to bottom, visitors who are proficient in calligraphy will definitely stop for the works of various famous calligraphers on the cliff. It is said that at the beginning of the construction of Luohan Mountain, the founder Mr. Lin Zhiliang invited famous artists from all walks of life to add color to Luohan Mountain, and each person left a calligraphy work in the mountain. Mr. Lin Zhiliang carved the famous card on the cliff and melted it into 500 arhats for future generations to learn. These calligraphy Zen cultures are rich, such as Jia Qinglin's "harmony", Shen Peng's "epiphany", the essence of Zen master Huineng's epiphany, "Bodhi has no trees, the mirror is not a stage, there is nothing, where is dust", and Mr. Lin Zhiliang's "heart follows nature", etc., which are interdependent with mountains and rivers, compatible with Buddhism and integrated with people entering the country.
Seen from a distance, there is a stone on the hillside of Duoluohan, which really looks like a Luohan, in the position of the completed Luohanshan Teahouse. It has a bald head, two eyes and a nose, lying on the left and supported by the left elbow, forming a natural stone arhat. The whole Luohan stone statue is three life-size statues, which are lifelike from a distance. Later, I found a very similar stone bodhisattva.
