Bai Ruquan, backed by Jingshan, faces the Huaihe River, and Bianhe Cave is adjacent to the valley. Surrounded by mountains, the peaks are green, the durian forest is like the sea, surrounded by green trees and green grass, which is a well-known natural beauty.
Bai Ruquan was originally named Bai Guiquan. According to legend, during the Zhenyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, a white turtle once flowed out of the spring, hence the name. Because the spring water is sweet and milky white, later generations renamed it White Milk Spring.
