What's the difference between Feng Shui and environmental science?

Environmental science originated from geomantic omen. For example, in Feng Shui, the living environment is backed by mountains and rivers, and there are tall objects behind it to keep out the wind, and the north wind blows much in winter. There is water in front of the house, which is convenient and fast, and it can be cool in summer. Yangzhai terrain is high in the west and low in the east, which is in line with natural science. Only later people added some superstitious colors.
