From an aesthetic point of view, it is best not to hang anything, because it is really ugly. From the perspective of faith, if you believe in Feng Shui, you can wear the Bagua and the compass. In the past, people hung mirrors because of superstition, believing that mirrors have the effect of dispelling evil spirits, so many people hung a mirror outside their door to ward off evil spirits and welcome the God of Wealth. And this year is 2019. The country did not allow monsters to appear 70 years ago! Where does the evil spirit come from, and where does the God of Wealth come from? Therefore, if you are not a Taoist believer and don’t understand the teachings, don’t hang these things around. You don’t even know what they do, so why are you hanging on them? Maybe it has this function in your hometown, but it has another function in other places. So who is telling the truth? For example, if you are a party member, you go to the party school to study, and you wear a party emblem on your chest. Then someone tells you that wearing the party emblem can attract wealth. You go to wear one among the masses, and then when someone asks you if you are a party member, you just wear it. It's said to attract wealth, but what does that look like? The masses are fine, but if you meet a party member, will he be angry? If you weren't angry, would he laugh at you? To use another analogy, when you go to a Thai temple, many people follow other people's example of praying here and praying there. After you pray, you pat your butt and go back to your country without paying back your vows. You don't respect other people's customs and teachings at all. Why do you still go to pray? You obviously don’t believe in Buddhism, and you don’t even know the name of the Buddha you worship and what its status is in Buddhism. Therefore, if you don’t believe in it, but you still hang these things, it can neither drive away evil spirits nor attract wealth, but it shows both the flaws in your aesthetics and your ignorance of not believing in it.
