In the land of the flat ocean, dragons appear in the distance, ending at the intersection of rivers and seas, and people live by the water. This place is flat for thousands of miles, under the shadow of hidden dragons, and blessed with the virtue of abundant water. People live toward the water and form villages, which have flourished from generation to generation. Also due to the flow of time, one family prospered and the other declined. One family was full of descendants, while the other family was in ruins. As the saying goes, some families are happy and some are sad, just like a river of spring water flowing eastward. Pingyangtang Bureau generally follows the water to look for dragons, and connects to Yuanshan for thousands of miles in the back. It goes to the Sanchagan tributary in the front, so it can get winding water and good luck, so that it can make the family prosperous and prosperous. If fortune changes, it is inevitable that the family will be broken up and people will be exiled to other places. In mountainous villages, the dragons are close to the wall, and the water flows around the door. Most of them are small plots of land, and the situation is narrow. People often choose places surrounded by mountains and rivers, and gather together to live there. Due to the narrow terrain, it is more obviously dominated by fortune. When the time comes, the weather is prosperous, the mountains and rivers are green, and the orioles are singing and the swallows are dancing. As time goes by, things gradually decline, the mountains become sewage, and the walls and tiles are broken. It can be seen from this that when looking for a place to live, you must first find a perfect place, and then combine the incoming and outgoing water. Only when the fortune is right can you live in peace for a long time. After you have selected a more satisfactory site, you can consider building a house facing a mountain and living there for a long time. The first step is to follow the natural terrain and set the direction of the mountain with the dragon at its head as the rule of orientation. The so-called coming dragon refers to the coming force of mountains. If the distant mountains are in the northwest and the nearby mountains are in the southeast, the mountain topography is in the Qianxun direction; if the distant mountains are in the northeast and the nearby mountains are in the southwest, the mountain topography is in the Genkun direction; if the distant mountains are in the west and the nearby mountains are in the east, the mountain topography is Duizhen direction; if the distant mountain is in the north and the nearby mountain is in the south, the mountain is in the Kanli direction. There are twenty-four mountain trends in the southeast, northwest, and in all directions. The principle is that the mountains should be connected in one continuous line and should not be separated by rivers in the middle. If there are rivers in the middle, it means you have misunderstood the mountains. The so-called place where the dragon enters is the end of the mountain. This is usually the intersection point of rivers. The Lailong uses water as its boundary and stops when it encounters water. There are many alluvial flats here, forming a hall surrounded by mountains and water. Qi gathers here, which is a perfect place for people to live. Although the incoming force of mountains has twenty-four directions, there are actually only three elements, namely, the heaven element, the earth element, and the human element. Anyone with the eight directions of Zi, Wu, Mao, You, Qian, Xun, Gen and Kun is a Tianyuan dragon. Anyone with the eight directions of Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei, Ren, Bing, Jia and Geng is the Earth Yuan Dragon. Anyone with the eight directions of Gui, Ding, Yi, Xin, Yin, Shen, Si and Hai is a human Yuanlong. When standing on a mountain, we must adhere to the principle of oneness and unity. The starting point of the mountain is Tianyuan Dragon, and the standing direction must also be Tianyuan Dragon. The first place where the mountain enters is the Earth Origin Dragon, and the standing direction must also be the Earth Origin Dragon. The first part of the mountain is Human Yuanlong, and the standing direction must also be Human Yuanlong. Only with the same origin and energy can a hexagram be kept pure. For example, if the first part of the mountain is Xunxiang, and Xunda is Tianyuanlong, you may choose Xunxiang, Wuxiang, Kunxiang, Maoxiang, Youxiang, etc. The direction of the mountain is usually circuitous, so the first section is the guideline. In some places, the mountains are far away and cannot be observed, so we have to use water to identify the dragon. For example, at the intersection of rivers, take the left and right sections of the intersection to form an angle; the central dividing line of the angle is the direction of the mountain from Lailong.

When standing, you should also look at the water in the direction. When taking water, we must maintain the same qi. Sitting on a mountain is the Tian Yuan Dragon, and facing the water is also the Tian Yuan Dragon; If they are not in harmony with each other, water is the best, but it is also evil water. This is the meaning of the so-called "the stem of the mountain faces the water, and the top of the stem rises to the top" ("Tianyu Jing").

The water must bend to come towards you and go away from both sides. The water coming in and going out must be in harmony with each other to achieve the alignment method. Even the water at the city gate is like this. For example, when setting up the direction of Ziwu Mountain, the water should go from Kun to Gen, from Gen to Kun, from Xun to Qian, and from Qian to Xun. When the water comes and goes, be careful not to go straight or rush to the beach. It is better to be gentle in the bends or slow in the lake. When the mountain dragon enters the first place, right-hand and left-hand acupoints will appear. For example, if the dragon sign enters the head from the side of Zi (Zi is the Tianyuan Dragon) and suddenly turns right to form a hole, it is necessary to set the Qianshan Xun direction (Qian Xun is also the Tianyuan Dragon), but not the Zishan Meridian direction. . When Zishan enters the head, the water must be in the noon direction. If you want to get the water in the noon direction, you can only take the sunda direction to get the noon direction for the city gate. From Zifang to Qianfang, there are four positions separated; from Xunfang to Wufang, there are also four positions separated. This is called Yinlong Liyang direction. If Zishan enters the head and suddenly turns left to form a hole, it is necessary to establish the direction of Genshan and Kun. Because Zishan enters the head, the water must be in the noon direction. If you want to get the water in the noon direction, you can only get the noon direction by taking the kun direction to get the city gate. This is called Yinlong Li Yang direction. This tells people that if they encounter a Huilong, they must take the Yang dragon to set up the Yin direction, and the Yin dragon to set up the Yang direction, so that the line can be aligned. If not, there will be a phenomenon of sitting on the mountain that is not straight. For example, if the Zishan is turned right and the Zishan is erected in the meridian direction, the back seat will not be perpendicular to the mountain, and the body will sit sideways.

The second step is vertical orientation. When using a compass to obtain mountain direction coordinates, the most important thing when setting a line is to find the center point. Any kind of terrain can be regarded as a plane figure. Finding the center point on the plane figure is a drawing method of plane geometry. Anyone with knowledge of junior high school geometry can operate it. Ordinary terrains, such as circles, squares, triangles, polygons, etc., are easier to find the center point. But some strange graphics are more difficult.

After the center point is found, the line orientation should be established according to the principle of unity. If the direction of the Tang Bureau dragon vein is that of Tian Yuan Long, follow the direction of the Tian Yuan Dragon vertical line; if the direction of the Tang Bureau dragon vein is that of Di Yuan Long, follow the direction of the Di Yuan Dragon vertical line; if the direction of the Tang Bureau dragon vein is that of Ren Yuan Long, follow the direction of the human line Yuanlong establishes the direction of the line. After doing this, you can find the line on the compass facing the mountain. If you encounter an untenable line, such as a large void or a small void, this terrain will be discarded. If you encounter a positive or simultaneous hexagram, you can start a hexagram according to the positive direction or the hexagram according to the simultaneous direction.

The third step is to raise the hexagram, that is, to raise the lower hexagram or to raise the alternate hexagram. The so-called starting a hexagram is to start a hexagram in the positive direction, see which of the 216 pictures in the next hexagram the hexagram raised belongs to, and then make a judgment of bad luck based on the reference instructions of the picture. The so-called starting hexagram is to follow the simultaneous starting hexagram and see which hexagram it belongs to in the 216 diagrams of the rising star, and then make judgments about bad luck based on the reference instructions of the diagram. No matter what hexagram is played, three results will inevitably occur.

1. Go to the mountain and reach the direction, that is, the mountain is prosperous and the direction is prosperous. When the Yuanwang star flew to the flying star position of Zuifangzhishan, it also flew to the flying star position of Xiangfangzhixiang. Readers should be reminded here that if the hexagram for replacement is used, there will be phenomena of non-replacement and seemingly going to the mountain and going to the direction, but in fact it is not the prosperous mountain and the direction. For example, the Jiashan Gengxiang of the Four Movements (both Maoyou and Yinshen) and the Gengshanjiaxiang of the Four Movements (both Youmao and Shenyin) appear on the surface to be from Shan to Xiang, but in fact they are guilty of " "Out of hexagram direction" error. Because Jia Geng and Geng Jia belong to the two hexagrams of Zhen Dui, while Yin Shen and Shen Yin belong to the two hexagrams of Gen and Kun. Different hexagrams lead to different Qi. At the same time, another mistake of yin and yang was made. Because Jia Geng and Geng Jia are in the same hexagram as Mao You and You Mao, but the yin and yang are different. The former belongs to yang and the latter belongs to yin. If yin and yang are combined, the hexagram qi will be mixed. Why does this error occur? The reason is that the method of non-replacement is used. Originally, there must be a substitute for both, but the two stars facing the mountain happen to be hit without replacement. The replacement star is the same as the original star facing the mountain. There is no need to use a substitute, and the original star still flies in it. The hexagrams that appeared were exactly the same as Zhengxiang, which caused Zhengxiang to make mistakes of "out of hexagram direction" and "yin and yang error".

2. Going up the mountain and into the water means loss of life and wealth. When the Yuanwang star flies to the position of the flying star in the direction of the direction, it then flies to the position of the flying star of the mountain in the direction of the direction. The positions are reversed, causing the dragon god in the water to go up the mountain, and the dragon god on the mountain to go down into the water. Originally, the mountain managed the people but the water managed the wealth, but now the mountain god descended into the water, and the water god ascended the mountain, resulting in a situation of loss and loss of wealth. Whenever this pattern is encountered, it is generally not advisable to adopt it. Unless the landscape of the hall is contrary to the hexagram and is very beautiful, it would be better to abandon it.

3. When the double stars go to the mountain, it is a situation of going up the mountain; when the double stars go to the direction, it is a situation of going down the water. If the two prosperous stars come to the mountain together, they can be prosperous, but they will lose money. This pattern is generally not suitable to be used. Unless the hall is special. It can only be used if you sit on a mountain side and there is water at the same time. This is a situation where you sit full of sky and face the sky. If the two prosperous stars are in the same direction, they can bring wealth, but they will cause harm.

This layout is adopted by many earth masters, because this kind of hall layout is relatively common, that is, there is water in the direction, but there are also mountains at the same time, and the mountains and rivers end at one end. And where it is sitting on a mountain, if it encounters an angry mountain star, it can be a situation of sitting full and facing a full state; if it encounters a declining mountain star, it can be a situation of being empty and facing a full state.

The fourth step is to check the relationship between the flying star in the direction (referring to the direction of the prosperous star) and the mountain dragon in the head. Find the water mouth of the city gate. Use the method of dividing money to balance the relationship between support and relief. Take away the mountain and bring out the evil. Check the various bad and good relationships among the hexagrams. These include yin and yang combined, three general hexagrams, anti-yin and fu-yin, general earth luck, robbing earth luck, ordinary prison, star prison, Ding star prison, eight pure hexagrams, sitting to attack Tai Sui, etc.

The fifth step is to choose a date to start construction. When starting to build a house and erecting a tomb, you need to choose a date to avoid various evil spirits, such as Tai Sui, Three Evils, etc.
