The navigation capacity of the Yangtze River should be adjusted at the depth of the channel, from the sandbar of the Yangtze River estuary to the middle and upper reaches of the channel. The water depth from Chongqing to Yibin is 2.7 meters, which can be used for navigation of thousand-ton ships.
