In hydroponics, Guanyin bamboo can't be put directly into the bottle, and the leaves below the bottle mouth need to be trimmed according to the height of the vase.
Soak the leaves in water. Don't trim it with scissors when disassembling it. You need to pull out the leaves on the stem by hand.
Step 2: Bevel the root.
After the leaves are processed, the roots need pruning. You can cut off a section of the root with sterilized scissors, and the incision needs to be inclined.
This can increase the water absorption of Guanyin bamboo stem, and the length of pruning can be determined according to your own hobbies and aesthetics.
3. Water quality selection
Water for hydroponics can be tap water or pure water. The difference between the two kinds of water quality lies in whether the tap water needs to be dried and disinfected before use. If pure water can be used directly, the intermediate drying process can be omitted, but the mineral content of pure water is not as high as tap water.
4. Hydroponics
Put the processed Guanyin bamboo into the bottle, and the amount of water is only 3/5 of the bottle. If you want to see the water quantity clearly, you can choose a transparent vase, so that you can not only observe the water quantity, but also check whether the water quality is turbid. The place should be far away from the air conditioner and can be placed in a place with weak light.
5. Water change treatment
During the rooting period of Guanyin bamboo, the water change time can be about half a month, and the water change frequency should not be too frequent, otherwise it will affect the rooting efficiency. After Guanyin bamboo takes root, you can change the water quality once a month and drop a few drops of nutrient solution into the water regularly to make Guanyin bamboo grow more vigorously.
