Introduction to Dongjiang Lake

Dongjiang Lake is located in Zixing City, Chenzhou District, southeast of Hunan Province, 370 kilometers south of Guangzhou. It is a national scenic spot, a national AAAAA tourist attraction, a national water conservancy scenic spot and a national wetland park 1. Dongjiang Lake is pure and vast, with an area of 160 square kilometers and a storage capacity of 865,438+200 million cubic meters, ranking 13 in China, which is equivalent to the storage capacity of half Dongting Lake, and the water quality reaches the national first-class drinking water standard. The water level of Dongjiang Reservoir is 280 meters above sea level, which is 230 meters higher than that of Changsha, which is 50 meters above sea level. It is an "overground reservoir", and the lake water can flow to Hengyang, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan and Changsha by itself, with low operating cost.
