Which sect does Master Xingyun belong to?

Shi Xingyun was born on1August 9, 927/kloc-0, with the common name Li Guoshen and the legal name Wu Che. His followers often call him Master Nebula. Yangzhou, Jiangsu (Jiangdu) was born at the age of 12 and decided to become a monk in qixia temple, Nanjing. He is the 48th generation descendant of Lin Jizong. 65438-0945 entered Qixia Law School to study Buddhism. /kloc-in the spring of 0/949, the monk rescue team was organized to come to Taiwan Province province. /kloc-founded foguangshan in 0/967 and became the first, second and third abbot of foguangshan temple.

It has established more than 200 Dojo around the world, and founded dozens of art galleries, libraries, publishing houses, bookstores, Chinese schools, Buddhist jungle colleges, universities, middle schools and primary schools. He has edited Buddhist publications, such as Life, Buddhism Today and Shi Jue Monthly.

He was an adviser to the Kuomintang in China and a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee. He is currently the President of the World Association of the International Buddha's Light Society and the Honorary Dean of the China Institute of Culture of Nanjing University.

Lin Ji School, one of the five schools of southern Zen, was separated from Hongzhou School and began in Linji Yi Xuan (? —— In 867), the master studied Buddhism from the Zen master in Huang Bei for 33 years, and then went to build a courtyard by the Hutuo River (now Zhengding, Hebei Province), widely popularizing the new Zen method of "based on Prajna, taking it from the void and melting it into the void" advocated by the Zen master Yun. The popularity of this new Zen method is due to the fact that Yi Xuan held a clan school in Lin Ji Hospital, which was later called "Lin Ji School", and Zhengding Linji Temple became the ancestral home of Lin Ji School.
