Guo Baojun (1965~), born in Hebei province, is a professional painter of Beijing Painting Academy, a first-class artist, deputy director of the training center of Beijing Painting Academy, and a member of China Artists Association.

1965 was born in Quzhou County, Handan, Hebei Province. 1986 graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Hebei Normal University. Studied under Mr. Li Mingjiu, Liu Jinan, Tang Yongli, etc. 1988 studied in the Chinese painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is a professional painter, a first-class artist and deputy director of the training center of Beijing Painting Academy. Member of China Artists Association.

His works have participated in many national art exhibitions, national meticulous painting exhibitions, meticulous painting nomination exhibitions, master door exhibitions, oil painting landscape comparison exhibitions and Beijing verve exhibitions, and won many awards. He has held solo exhibitions and joint exhibitions in Nakagawa Art Museum, Sakata Art Museum and Nara Art Museum in Japan. His works have been collected by professional institutions and individuals such as Beijing Painting Academy, Shenzhen Art Museum and Nakagawa Art Museum in Japan.

In February, 2006, Literary Newspaper/Art Special Issue made a full-page introduction to Guo Baojun's ink and wash world. In March, I went to Bashang, Fengning County, Chengde, Hebei Province, with my friend Zhanshan, an oil painter. Two works, The Last Charm of Ming City and Listening to Snow —— The Unknown Lake of Peking University, were selected for the Beijing Charming City Roaming (China Art Museum on June 23rd).
