On the solstice of summer, Wan Li is clear and Wan Li is cloudless. We drove to Paotongping in the deep mountain of Dong Tang Village in Jiangjin, where the mountain road is winding, the mountain is high and the forest is dense, and cars crawl on the mountain road like beetles, struggling to walk to the ruins of the ancient temple of Shanhua Temple.
This trip to the mountains is to investigate the Shanhua Temple, an ancient temple more than 300 years ago, and to examine its cultural and economic value.
The off-road vehicle starts from Dong Tang Yongcun School, and there are hills, fields and bamboo forests along the way, as well as mountains, gullies and streams, with rolling mountains and beautiful scenery all the way; Dense trees slipped in through the window, and there were few people along the way. They crossed the state-owned forest farm, climbed the green hills, protected the forests on both sides of the driveway and prohibited the use of fire. One warning sign after another is eye-catching. After nearly an hour's drive, they finally reached the top of Paotongping Mountain.
The female driver Qiuyue said with a cheerful smile, "Here we are, here we are." . She is in her fifties, of medium build and slightly fat. She has a straightforward personality. Judging from her quick words, she is a cultural person who knows both business and brains. She is Qiu Yue, president and chairman of Dong Tang Yongcun School. This time, she is our driver and tour guide.
Qiuyue invited us to Shanhua Temple. Let's explore the history and culture here, study its cultural connotation and economic value, and build a tourist and cultural attraction.
The abandoned Shanhua Temple is very desolate. In front of the bluestone fence of the dilapidated temple, an eye-catching signboard caught my eye. The cultural relics site set up by the Wenguang New Bureau in Jiangjin District is "Shanhua Temple Inscription, Yunfeng Temple Site Protection". From the stone wall building of the temple, we can know at a glance that it has a long history; There are more than 20 huge stone pillars, and the columns and beams are all made of stone tenons and mortises, and the structure is like a thread. Temple builders have exquisite craftsmanship. It has been more than 300 years since the stone archway in front of the temple was recorded. It is a miracle that the stone pillar stands still in the wilderness. Dean Qiu introduced: The building of Shanhua Temple is magnificent, which is divided into three halls: upper hall, middle hall and lower hall, where Guanyin, Dizang, Manjusri and Pu Xian are dedicated. At that time, the temple was full of incense, burning incense and worshipping Buddha, and many people prayed for the blessing of Bodhisattva.
Shanhua Temple, built on the top of this high mountain, has a flat and wide paulownia flat. Judging from the huge stone pillars standing on the top of the mountain, after the baptism of wind and rain, some mottled traces are exposed on the smooth blue stone pillars. This is a mark of history. At that time, there were no four powerful Bodhisattvas here, only the carved patterns on the stone pillars in Liang Shi were known. Its exquisiteness reveals the wisdom of those craftsmen in those years.
I asked Dean Qiu, how did the craftsmen stand on the temple with these thick stone pillars folded by three people? Where are so many bluestones produced? Is it an official building or a folk building? When I asked, President Qiu replied with a smile, which was recorded in the county annals and inscriptions. It seems that she knows a thing or two.
In front of the temple, a broad bluestone dam of nearly 1,000 square meters is closely connected with a towering Shi Zhuan. The stone dam is covered with moss, and a small amount of hay is exposed in the cracks. Although it has weathered the wind and rain, it is still smooth and delicate. The trees around the dam are towering, overgrown with weeds and desolate.
There is a merit stone tablet about three meters high and two meters wide in front of the stone dam, which is engraved with the names of many people. Due to the age, many characters have been artificially eradicated, looming. Can only estimate and guess, very clear. During the Kangxi period, Qingshi was produced in Jianshanyan, Dong Tang and other places ... but the couplets hanging on both sides of the stone tablet are still clearly visible. "X said that selling names should be known to Yunnan people and respect morality."
On the left side of the stone dam, an old-fashioned residential tile house with blue bricks, bluestones and blue tiles stands impressively, slightly five meters high. Many walls and columns are the bricks and stones of ancient temples. This house has more than 300 square meters. President Qiu said that the house was built 50 years ago and the landlord was a farmer in his thirties. In a special period, he organized some peasant students to go to the temple to break down the "four old buildings", and the temple was demolished, and the demolished materials were used to build their own houses. He also organized personnel to carry the bodhisattva in the temple to Dayan Reservoir to sink. Later, the member died of illness the following year. The door is locked, rusty, covered with dust and cobwebs. President Qiu said, "I have run a permanent school in Dong Tang for nearly 20 years. I have been here many times and found that this house is guarded by' Iron General'. "
According to online records, Shanhua Temple is a temple with a long history, also known as Yunfeng Temple. Chen Zuolong, a feng shui master in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, soon entered the official career. He saw through the darkness of officialdom and traveled all over the country. Wang Shuxiang, a classmate who went to Jiangjin for Jinshi, traveled here and wrote a poem: Yunfeng Temple, before Cailonggang, it was like the chaos of Qin Dynasty. This cave has long been occupied by an ancient temple, and the cellar is full of yellow flowers. On the left are banners and mountains of the camp, and on the right are handwriting that penetrates the sky, with bamboo box gauze caps placed upward. This shows that this is a treasure trove of geomantic omen!
There are also written records that clear lake is the mirror and Castle Peak is the screen. Water and sky are connected, and the greenery is interlaced. Even the tomb of Deng Weihe Xuan may not really appreciate the wonder of this mountain.
In order to investigate, President Qiu also took us to see the damaged Bodhisattva in Dayan Reservoir. We walked on a bluestone road covered with green grass and moss. She said it was an ancient tea-horse road leading to Guizhou. We walked along the ancient road step by step and came to the reservoir. After the rain, the reservoir is full of rain, and nothing can be seen in the water. I see Dayan Reservoir is wide and deep, surrounded by lush trees, and the water from the reservoir keeps flowing into Sunqian River all the year round. ...
We came to an ancient well about 100 meters away from the reservoir, and the well was engraved with "Longjing, Qianlong Imperial Pen". I doubt very much, is this Longjing really a dry dragon pen?
The depths of this mountain used to be full of fireworks, but now it is sparsely populated and inaccessible.
We came down the mountain to President Qiu's eternal school, where the culture is rich, the environment is beautiful, the trees are surrounded, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. President Qiu said that he was prepared to integrate Shanhua Temple, Yunfeng Temple landscape culture, tourism culture and education culture with the school as the carrier and develop each other.
We wish President Qiu an early realization of his dream.
