According to legend, in ancient times, there was a rich man named Wang Shiwan in Shangyinying Village, Pingding County. He worshipped Liu Bei, the Emperor Zhaolie of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period. There is a huge portrait of Liu Bei hanging on the purlin of his home. Whenever Liu Bei's birthday and memorial day, pigs and sheep are always slaughtered as vegetarian sacrifices.
One night, while he was sleeping, he dreamed that Liu Bei and Guan Gong, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong and Zhuge Liang were drinking at the top of Fangshan Mountain to discuss state affairs. When he woke up, it was already midnight, and he couldn't sleep about it. He had to build a temple of Liu Bei on Fangshan.
The next day, before the rooster crowed for the first time, Wang 100 thousand got up quickly and called the sleeping long-term worker to clean up the sedan chair. After breakfast, I carried the sedan chair, took the Yin and Yang teacher and a compass, and went up the mountain to determine the location of the temple.
Wang Shiwan and Yin Yang Shi spent the whole day in the mountains. After visiting every place, they chose a land of geomantic omen, set up a cable and decided to start building a temple.
This mountain is majestic and tall, with dangerous terrain and narrow slope. If people carry bricks, stones and wood, it will take more than 20 miles to get to the top. It took Wang 100,000 long-term workers to carry the burden from Nanyaozhuang, and it took him a whole day to pick more than 500 bricks. This is too difficult. So the king fed100000 sheep and chose 20000 black-eyed sheep to carry bricks. He divided the sheep into two groups, one is brick and the other is tile. A sheep carries two pieces at a time, and other materials are carried by animals. Those cattle and sheep, climbing mountains and wading, worked diligently for less than a few days, and all the building materials were transported to the temple building site. Before the construction of the temple, Wang Shiwan visited the teachers from village to village, carefully designed and designed the Liubei Temple into a beamless structure, and then selected hundreds of skilled craftsmen from villages in Sili, Fiona Fang to start construction. Because the temple was built at the junction of Pingding and Yuxian at that time, there was a saying in Liubei Temple that "the front eaves dripped and the back eaves dripped". There is a Koizumi halfway up the mountain in front of Liubei Temple, which is said to be immortal water. No matter how much water is taken, the water level will not change and will not overflow to the outside. There is always a bowl by the puddle. Even on the first day, an identical bowl will be placed next to the water pit. Legend has it that whoever drinks the water from Liu Beishan will live forever. Up to now, although people don't believe that drinking water from Liubeishan can live forever, many people carry water bottles every day because there is less water pollution on the mountain.
