------------There is no exact official conclusion about the founder of Datie. According to folk saying, it is Lao Tzu--
1. Legend, When I rode an ox to visit this cave, the green ox lay down and never left again. I looked around and found that this was a rare Feng Shui treasure. So, he lived in seclusion in the cave and concentrated on alchemy practice. This cave is today’s Laojun Cave. And this mountain was called "Funiu Mountain" by later generations.
Laojun Cave is a large group of karst caves. There are holes inside the cave, holes above the cave, holes under the cave, and holes in the cave. Outside the cave, there are many mountains, high mountains and dense forests. Legend has it that after Lao Tzu lived in seclusion here, the savages from the nearby Savage Peak often came to harass his practice. So, I sent Qingniu to a slightly higher cave to keep a lookout for him. This cave is Qingniu Cave.
However, even though the green bull was on guard duty, savages still came from time to time to disrupt my alchemy practice. In order to completely eliminate the intrusion of savages, Lao Tzu thought hard and finally invented the technology of making iron tools. The cave where he made iron tools is today's iron making cave. It is said that in the 1970s, the local archaeological department discovered residual iron slag and iron filings in the ironmaking cave. People said that they were the relics of Lao Tzu's ironmaking. To this day, -----------folk blacksmiths still respect Lao Tzu as their ancestor. -------------
After the invention of iron tools, I have a powerful weapon to deal with savages. Not only that, he invented the sickle when he saw farmers harvesting wheat with their hands; he invented plows, hoes, hoes, etc. when he saw the difficulty of farming. There are even older folk myths and legends, according to which the iron rafters and iron tiles of the Laojunshan Temple in Luanchuan, more than a hundred miles away, were built by Laozi in an iron hole and carried up to Laojunshan one by one by goats. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but for hundreds of thousands of years, people within a few hundred miles have been saying this and spreading it like this.
2.
The forefather of the blacksmith is "Ancestor Li Er". The fifteenth day of the second lunar month is his birthday, and all the masters and apprentices in the blacksmith shop must pay homage to him. The furnace is booming and the business is booming.
