Which nine do you mean?

"Jiuzu" refers to different theories. First, grandfather's uncle to great-grandchildren, namely great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons, bodies, fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers.

2. Patriarchal Clan 4. Matrilineal Clan 3. Wife Clan 2. Patriarchal Clan 4 refers to aunt's son (aunt's child), sister's son (nephew), daughter's son (grandson) and own kin (parents, brothers, sisters and children); The matriarchal clan refers to the mother's father (grandfather), mother (grandmother) and subordinate mother (uncle); In-laws refer to parents-in-law.

The feudal society practiced cruel laws that implicated others. If a person breaks the law, especially Dafa, then the "nine families" will often be destroyed, that is, "involving nine families." With the changes of the times, the meaning of "Jiuzu" has changed a lot today, and the meaning of their relatives has faded out and become the general name of all people related to it.

Comments on ancient Chinese prose:

Representative figures are Kong Anguo, Ma Rong and Zheng Xuan. They believe that the nine clans are limited to paternal clans, including nine generations of immediate family members from Gaozu to Great-great-grandson. The theory of ancient Chinese prose constitutes the basis of patriarchal ethics.

After the Tang and Song Dynasties, the ancient prose theory of the Nine Clans was formally confirmed in the national law, among which the Ming and Qing laws stipulated that the Nine Clans specifically referred to the paternal clan.

The second chapter of the third volume of Morgan's "Ancient Society" also quoted the nine theories of ancient Chinese prose.

"Book Essentials": "Ke Ming Jun De, to pro-nine families." Kong Chuan: "Be close to great-great-grandfather and great-grandson."

"Study in Qionglin", Volume 2, "Sun and Father": "What is Jiuzu? Gao, Zeng, Zu, Kao, himself, Zi, Sun, Zeng, Xuan. "

Preface to "Feng Wang Gree": "Zhou Shi's Taoism declined and abandoned the nine families."

Zheng Xuan wrote: "Nine families, hydrogen has reached the relatives of great-grandfather and great-grandson." (Refer to Yuan Volume 35, Mourning Volume 102, Jiuzu Wufu Figure, and Qing Law Volume 2, Jiuzu Wufu Zhengfu Figure. )
