Historical events in Fengshan Village

When it comes to the history of Fengshan Village, Kang Xide, Wang Yuanxi, Ren Tianhe, Hu Xicheng and other elderly people who were born and raised in Fengshan and the county chronicle editors talk endlessly, perhaps out of concern for Qin'an's preference and persistence in history preserve the history and legends related to Fengshan Village in their offices and residences. Fengshan Village was one of the 53 villages in Longcheng Town in the early days. It was called Xiannongtan in ancient times. It was a place where people in ancient times worshiped the God of Agriculture and prayed for a good harvest. The Nongshen Altar in the village is located on the southeast side of the village. It faces the east and faces the west. There are three couplets in the main hall in the east and one couplet in the north and south. The Spring Festival ceremony is held on the day before the beginning of spring every year. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the serving magistrate led the officials to welcome the spring in the eastern suburbs of the county. On the day of the beginning of spring, the magistrate and his subordinate officials wore court clothes and performed the spring ritual of whipping. They were given three taels of silver every year. In the early Yongzheng years of the Later Qing Dynasty, Yu Jing, the magistrate of Qin'an County, rebuilt the altar. However, due to historical changes, the Altar of the God of Agriculture no longer exists. However, the history of worshiping the God of Agriculture is still spread in people's hearts. The county museum also collects Baoziping. Unearthed sacrificial vessels - jade congs, jade rings, etc.

Fengshan Village has a long history, a gathering of talents, and profound cultural heritage. According to the recollections of the old people, on the city gate of Fengyang City, there are also engraved couplets of Qinyi's many scholars who were promoted to Jinshi in March 8th and Sihanyuan in July 9th. Quan Deyu, Prime Minister of the Ming Dynasty, and Hu Zuanzong, governor of Shandong in the Ming Dynasty, were born in this geomantic treasure land. In the famous Flagstaff Lane, heading deep into the deep lane, the former residence of Hu Zuanzong and the residences of some historical celebrities are still preserved. The footprints and relics of the historical celebrities who studied, lived and worked at that time are still preserved here. In Xingquan Village, not far from Fengshan Village, Kequan Temple, where he studied in his childhood and wrote books in his later years, also has a memorial hall of Hu Zuanzong, which contains historical and calligraphy treasures related to Hu Zuanzong. The plaque with Phoenix Qianren is particularly famous and has become one of the important historical documents for future generations to commemorate and study Hu Zuanzong.
