Historical Evolution of Fengcheng Street

Fengcheng Street has a long history. According to the study of unearthed cultural relics, as early as the Neolithic Age, ancestors lived here. In the sixth year of Qin Long in the Ming Dynasty (1572), Xinfeng County moved to the local area, first built in Hongyan Island (now the camp of Chengdong Village), and then moved to Junziyan in the first year of Wanli (1573) (now the county seat). Since then, Fengcheng has been the county seat. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Fengcheng area set up three conventions, namely Huangpi, Longchang and Tang Duwei, and three workshops, namely Taiping, Wenchang and Jukui.
