Zhenhu Tower was built in the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1892), with a hexagonal seven-level brick structure and a height of 40 meters. The top of the tower is painted with cranes, and each floor with rounded corners is tied with bronze bells. The spiral staircase in the tower can reach the top of the tower. Due to years of disrepair, some of them have been tilted and damaged. It was repaired locally at 1996.
On both sides of the gate of Zhenhu Building, there is a couplet inscribed by Wu Bohua's eldest son Wu. The couplet says: a pillar of heaven, magnificent structure, really killing the soul. Throughout the ages, the clock has been standing upright, and the eight-dimensional Frey has been traced back to the thoughts of predecessors. There are 12 stone carvings on the tower, of which 10 was written by Wu.
Zhenhu Pagoda is the Feng Shui Pagoda of six Wu families. One of the towers is a treasure house of Changlin River, and the other is for six people to go out for business and return to China to play the role of navigation mark. This tower is the only well-preserved ancient tower in Hefei. 1May 4, 992, the tower was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province.
