The ideal body length of an adult scorpion is about 55mm, and its shape is very similar to that of a pipa. Scorpions live for 5 to 8 years. Scorpion's segments are very obvious, and the whole body surface is hard skin with high chitin content.

It is composed of three parts: head, chest and abdomen. Its body is yellowish brown, its ventral surface and appendages are shallow, and the fifth section of the posterior abdomen is dark. Scorpions are hermaphroditic and slightly different in shape. The head and chest are composed of six sections, which are trapezoidal. There are a pair of middle eyes in the center of the back, three side eyes on both sides of the front end and six pairs of appendages. The first pair is the whole limb that helps to eat, the second pair is the long and thick horn whiskers shaped like crab claws, which are responsible for predation, touch and defense, and the other four pairs are walking feet. The mouth is located at the bottom of the ventral anterior cavity.

The front abdomen is wide and consists of 7 sections. The back abdomen is a long and flexible part, which consists of five joints and a tail thorn. The first section, there are reproductive organs, covering the reproductive holes. Female scorpions can give birth to young scorpions from reproductive holes, and male scorpions can produce sperm from reproductive holes intersecting with female scorpions.
