tianzhu mountain
Tianzhu Mountain is a gathering place of ancient Anhui culture, known as the "hometown of seven fairies". Taoism respects Tianzhu Mountain as 14 cave, the 57th blessed land. The appearance of the second and third ancestors of Zen Buddhism in Wuxi is the beginning of "chinese zen" going to the whole country. This is the hometown of Huangmei Opera, the birthplace of Peking Opera, and the place where the earliest long narrative poem Peacock flies southeast and Xiao Qiao marries.
"Huangshan returns without looking at Yue, and Tianzhu returns without looking at the peak." Tianzhu Mountain, named after Tianzhu Peak as the pillar of the sky, is also known as Wan Bojian, Zhu Zijian, Chaoyang Peak and Hejiafeng, with an altitude of 1489.8 meters. The surrounding peaks are arched and uneven. There are stone carvings on the top of the mountain, "a pillar of heaven" and "a lonely sky".
In the Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi praised: "One peak of Tianzhu Mountain holds the sun and the moon, and the cave door locks the clouds and thunder." In the Ming Dynasty, Li Geng praised Tianzhu Mountain: "The towering Tianzhu Peak is a sky table that rises from the ground. There are wonders in the world, and it is so good. "
