How to play in Norway's four fjords

When it comes to Norway, people think of skiing in Norway in winter. In fact, in addition, there are also interesting things to go to Norway in summer, such as visiting seven fjords. Next, I will tell you about the travel strategy of Norwegian fjords.

The most famous fjords on the southwest coast of Norway are these four fjords, which are Gai Langille Fjord, Songgen Fjord, Hadangir Fjord and Rus Fjord from north to south.

First, report on Langille Fjord.

Gai wrangell Fjord is backed by the Norwegian seaport city of Alesund, which is located more than 300 kilometers north of Bergen. Although it is the farthest from the capital Oslo, it has the most tortuous and thrilling roads on the west coast of Norway: the Elf Road and the Eagle Road.

How to get there?

To get to Gai Langell Fjord, you can take a bus from Alesund or Snees, Aandahl, and follow Highway 63 through Elf Road. It takes 3 hours from Alesund to Gay langer, including 2 hours bus and 1 hour cruise. You can also choose to go sightseeing in the fjord directly by cruise ship from Alesund.

The nearest airport to Gai Langell Fjord is Alesund Airport. From Oslo or Bergen, it takes about 6-8 hours to reach Gaillangell Fjord.

If you want to enjoy the scenery of the Elf Road and the Eagle Road, you can choose to drive by car: along Highway 63, from Gai Langille Fjord to Ezdal, you will pass the Elf Road; After crossing Valda, continue along Highway 63 and cross Eagle Road.

Travel time: 3 days /5 days

Take the train from Oslo to Dumos, then transfer to the train, all the way along the scenery of Darce Fjord in Roms, to Sne in Aandahl. The Laomabanen Railway between Dumos and Snees, Aandahl was selected as one of the most beautiful railways in Europe by Lonely Planet.

In Snees, Aandahl, you can stay one more day: hiking in Romsdalstrappa and going to Nesaksla Mountain at an altitude of175m. At the top of the fjord, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Laoma River and the Eastdaren Canyon. It was once chosen as one of the best hiking spots in Norway.

Take a bus from Aandahl to Alesund, and you can stop over in Alesund. As the base camp of Norway's largest cod fishing fleet, the narrow peninsula where Alesund is located is like a fishhook extending to the sea. In addition to fishing, the curved Art Nouveau buildings in the urban landscape are equally impressive.

Take a bus from Alesund, visit Langille Fjord and nearby villages by boat, and then return to Oslo by the same way, or take a bus to Grotley, where you will return to Oslo by train.

To participate in cruise activities in Gai langer Fjord, you can take a cruise on the route of Hellsut-Gai langer or Alesund-Hellsut-Gai langer-Alesund. You can complete the trip in one day, but you'd better reserve two days for yourself and choose to stay in a village near the fjord for one night.

In Vardal, taste berries from local farms and experience a variety of outdoor water activities, such as kayaking and rafting.

Take a boat to the comfortable town of Ezdal, drive over the mountain road and go to the steep Eagle Road. At the end of the Peak Road, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Gai Langille Fjord and enjoy the famous waterfall "Seven Sisters" falling into the Fjord.

If you want to enjoy the scenery of the Elf Road on foot, you can choose to walk. There are two excellent views on Bispen Mountain.

Another option is to return to Oslo by bus along the Valdresflye national tourist route, which is one of the national tourist routes of Norway 18. On this route, you will once again witness the heartbreaking beauty of Norway: endless mountains, fjords, forests and buildings. ......

Second, Songgen Fjord.

Songgen Fjord is the deepest fjord in the world, located in the north of Bergen. The most beautiful scenery of Songgen Fjord is concentrated in its tributaries Narui Fjord and Ayulan Fjord, close to Fromm, and it is a must-see place in Songgen Fjord.
