The working principle of car heaters:
1. The current form of heaters in cars is mainly water heating. Its heat source comes from the engine coolant. When the coolant temperature is high, It flows through the heat exchanger in the heating system, and the blower exchanges heat between the air and the engine coolant, and finally the heated air is sent into the car through each air outlet. To put it simply, the heat of the engine coolant is not wasted, and the car heater is heated through the heat transfer of the engine coolant, so there will be no additional increase in fuel consumption!
How to turn on the heater in a car without turning on the air conditioner:
① Do not turn on the air conditioner in a hurry after starting the car. Wait until the engine water temperature gauge pointer reaches the middle position before turning on the heater.
② A/C is the abbreviation of air condition. It is the switch for air conditioning and refrigeration. There is no need to turn on A/C when turning on the heater.
③ The warm air temperature can be controlled at about 18℃~25℃. Firstly, this is the most comfortable temperature for the human body. Secondly, if the temperature is higher, the engine may need to do extra work, which will increase fuel consumption.
④ Adjust the circulation mode of the air conditioner to indoor circulation. If you feel that the air in the car is a little turbid and the oxygen content has dropped, you can adjust it to external circulation.
⑤ Using the air conditioner for a long time will increase the burden on the condenser and cause losses to the refrigeration system. Therefore, you can turn off the air conditioner at the right time, let it "take a rest", and then turn it on again after a while.
⑥ The air conditioner should be turned off three to five minutes before turning off the car. This can not only reduce fuel consumption, but also avoid the odor produced by the air conditioner. If the air conditioner is not turned off and mold grows in the air conditioner, when it is started again, the vehicle will ignite with the pressure of starting the air conditioner. The high load caused by this will cause damage to the engine.
