Can Buddhist disciples fish?

Fishing is an outdoor activity. For Buddhist disciples, fishing itself is not a prohibited act.

But Buddhism emphasizes compassion, equality and wisdom, and believes that everyone has life and value, and should respect and protect life and the environment. Therefore, Buddhist disciples should abide by the relevant laws and regulations on environmental protection and animal protection when fishing, avoid hurting and abusing animals, and respect the rights and interests of others.

In addition, Buddhist disciples should be modest, cautious and self-disciplined when fishing, and avoid showing off, so as not to cause resentment to others.
