In addition to Shaanxi and Henan provinces, Zhejiang should be the southern province with the richest ancient tomb resources I have been to.
Let me talk about several cities I have been to.
Hangzhou
The resources of celebrity tombs in Hangzhou are particularly rich, even not inferior to Nanjing. One of the reasons may be that celebrities really want to be accompanied by mountains and lakes in the West Lake for a hundred years, especially the martyrs of Xinhai after the founding of the Republic of China, such as Qiu Jin's tomb, Tao's tomb and Xu Xilin's tomb.
The most famous nature is Yue Fei's tomb, next to Yue Yun's tomb, which has nothing to say. It's so famous. But what many people often overlook is that Zhang Xian's tomb is also near Wang Yue Temple. Niu Hao's tomb is far away, in Qixialing area.
The best route to find famous tombs in Hangzhou is along the West Lake, and most tombs are built around the West Lake. It is particularly easy to find, for example, the Tomb of Song Wu and the Tomb of Su Xiaoxiao are in the area of West Bridge of Beishan Street, which is the only way to visit the West Lake.
Others need to find a place with a winding path, such as the tomb of Gushan Crane Pavilion (with Mei's wife), the tomb of Zhao and the tomb of Qu in Lingyin Temple.
The most peculiar celebrity tomb in Hangzhou is the tomb of Mr. Zhang Taiyan. Beside the tomb of Zhang Taiyan, besides the tomb of Mrs. Tang Guoli, there is also the tomb of Zhang Cang Shui (Zhang Huangyan), a famous anti-Qing person in Ming Dynasty. And this is obviously not a coincidence. Because Zhang Taiyan admired the water in Zhang Cang before his death, saying "neighbors are born and neighbors die", he built his tomb next to the water in Zhang Cang.
There are too many tombs in Hangzhou, so I won't say them one by one. Let me talk about the two most impressive grave-sweeping routes.
The first is the area around Santai Mountain. I accidentally walked to this area in the evening a few years ago, and I didn't have the idea of looking for ancient tombs. Who knows, I found many "surprises" along the way. Along the way, I found the tomb, the tomb of Yu Yue (Yu Pingbo's great grandfather) and the tomb of Chen, the governor of Zhili in the late Qing Dynasty. I walked and watched it. The scenery is pleasant all the way, and they are not far apart.
The other route is around Jiuxi Scenic Area. You can visit Chen Bulei's tomb of Chiang Kai-shek Wendan first, then walk a few hundred meters up the mountain and turn into a big tea garden. Deep in the tea garden, you will suddenly find the tomb of Chen Yinque, the father of Chen Yinque and a famous poet in the late Qing Dynasty, next to the tomb of Chen Yinque's eldest brother.
Zhiyang
Fuyang is the place where Fuchun wrote and Huang lived in seclusion in his later years, but there is also a famous suspected tomb-"Huang Tomb". There is also a yellow tomb in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, but experts speculate that it is a cenotaph. Fuyang's yellow tomb is even more mysterious, because it is not true, and it can only be determined that it is an ancient tomb between the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, so it has not been repaired.
But if I have a chance to go to Fuyang, I strongly recommend going to Huangmu. First, suspected tombs are very rare and mysterious; Second, the mountain road leading to the Yellow Tomb is beautiful and inaccessible. A few years ago, I met only one or two people on the road, and I was not sure whether to go to the Yellow Tomb.
The yellow tomb on the top of the mountain is very feng shui. When I climbed up, I really felt a little gloomy. If you are a fan of tomb-robbing literature, you should go to the Yellow Tomb, which is very consistent with the mysterious description in many novels.
Ningbo
In Dongqian Lake, Ningbo, there are a number of family cemeteries of Ningbo famous ministers in the Southern Song Dynasty, which are now listed as national key cultural relics protection units. The scenery around Dongqian Lake is very good, with ancient tombs and stone carvings scattered in bamboo forests, which is very artistic. As one of the tomb owners of Dongqian Lake, this historian was very prominent in the Southern Song Dynasty. Shi Hao, Shi and Shi Songzhi successively served as prime ministers, which is called "one door and three phases" in history.
In addition to Dongqian Lake, there are tombs in downtown Ningbo. I'm sorry I missed it last time. I'll make it up next time. It is said that this is also a family cemetery, which is well preserved.
elegance and talent
In Xikou, Fenghua, Chiang Kai-shek's hometown, in addition to Chiang Kai-shek's former residence, there is also a famous tomb worth seeing-Chiang's mother's tomb. Jiangmu's tomb needs climbing. The scenery is extremely beautiful and there are not many tourists. It's a pity to go to Xikou instead of here. I think Jiang's mother's tomb is more worth seeing than Jiang's former residence.
Fenghua also has a celebrity tomb, the tomb of scholars in the Qing Dynasty. The inscription "Mr. Wan's Tomb Road" in front of the tomb was written by Chiang Kai-shek, which is regarded as an outstanding figure in Fenghua.
Shaoxing
Of course, the most famous tomb in Shaoxing is "Dayu Tomb", but it can only be regarded as a symbolic attraction at most, which is different from the tomb I mentioned.
I like the three ancient tombs in Shaoxing best.
The first place is the little-known Six Mausoleums in the Southern Song Dynasty. There is another reason for the bad reputation of the Six Mausoleums in the Southern Song Dynasty, because the tombs have been basically destroyed and the ground buildings have also been destroyed, so tourism is of little significance. However, for grave robbers, the six tombs of the Song Dynasty still have a strong sense of nostalgia. Although there are only one hundred trees in the tomb area, Gu Song, you still know that the tomb is at your feet.
The second place is the tomb of Wang Yangming. Now it is Wang Yangming's fever in China, but how many people have been to Mr. Yangming's grave to pay homage? Wang Yangming's tomb is near Lanting, which is known as the holy land of calligraphy. There are not many tourists, but it is well worth visiting. Wang Yangming's tomb is well preserved and quite large. Believe me, when you go, you will be glad that Mr. Yangming is buried here.
The third place is Xu Wenchang's tomb. Accurately speaking, this is the graveyard of the Xu Wenchang family, which is not easy to find. It is close to a village with a winding path and few tourists. This is a good place to meditate on the past.
There is also a famous tomb in Shaoxing, that is, the tomb of the King of Yue in Yinshan, but I haven't been there yet, so I won't say much.
Netizen reminds: negligence, Wenzhong tomb is also in Shaoxing, just halfway up Fushan Park. Coincidentally, I have just been there recently and climbed with my daughter in my arms. This is a free park, which is very nice.
Many ancient tombs are just commemorative, and there are several monuments in a tomb. Although it is worth remembering, the cost performance is not too high. So what I like best is the underground palace appreciation, or the museum memorial hall to facilitate my study. I have been to many ancient tombs in Zhejiang. Here are some good ones.
The tombs of the West Lake are definitely worth a visit, with many celebrities and concentrated tombs. Friends who travel to the West Lake in Hangzhou will pass several celebrity tombs more or less. These include Yuemiao Yuefei, Tomb, Qixia Mountain Tomb, Renshou Mountain Park Tomb, Jingyi Mountain Villa Chen Tomb, Su Xiaoxiao Tomb, Xiling Bridge Tomb, Nanshan Cemetery Ma Yinchu, Jiang Baili, Qian Tomb, Tiger Mountain Park Hongyi Master Tomb Tower, Jiji Cemetery Tower, Santaishan Yuqian and Yuyue Tomb.
Besides the West Lake, there is also the tomb of wuyue, Qian Liu, and the tomb of his parents, Qian Kuan. There are tombs of Huang Zunsu and Huang Zongxi in Huaan Mountain, Yuyao, Ningbo. Shaoxing has the tombs of Dayu, Wang Shouren and Xu Wei. But these tombs are more memorable, and the underground palace has never been seen before. If you want to see the underground palace, there is a good tomb near Xu Wei's tomb, which is generally considered to be the tomb of Gou Jian's father Yun Chang. The tomb is also quite distinctive in China, about 3 kilometers away from Lanting Scenic Area. Friends who travel to Lanting should not miss it.

They are different only because there is a name written on the tombstone, which is remembered by people today. There are national heroes like Yue Fei and Yu Qian, great thinkers like Huang Zongxi and Wang Shouren, and painters like Zhao Mengfu and Zhenwu.
After all kinds of turmoil, most of these tombs have changed beyond recognition. So what you may see is just an empty grave, a monument or even a symbol. But it doesn't matter. The important thing is that you came, you contacted historical figures you only saw in books, and then you felt satisfied and left.
