Licheng fengshui

This time in Quanzhou, I happened to find the West Lake here, so I went to see it.

In terms of human history, Quanzhou West Lake is inferior to Hangzhou. It is an artificial lake, and most of the scenic spots in the lake are newly built. But from the perspective of scenery, there is not much difference between the two. Quanzhou West Lake also has misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River that does not lose to Hangzhou.

West Lake Park is located in the northwest of the city, close to Qingyuan Mountain, where mountains and rivers blend together. This area has become a treasure trove of Feng Shui in Quanzhou.

The construction of the park began at 1996, and Quanzhou invested a lot of money to develop it, eventually forming a beautiful scenery like the sky and clouds, because there is an East Lake in the east of Quanzhou, called the West Lake.

West Lake has a vast area, with a water area of 80 hectares (1.200 mu) and a total area of 1.000 hectares (about 1.500 mu). Standing by the lake, looking out, the distant castle peak is cold, the Bai Causeway on the lake is like snow, and the trees are lush.

On a sunny day, the lake is like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, which is very spectacular; If it is rainy, clouds of mist will appear on the lake, and the trees on the island will gradually become hazy and picturesque.

I entered from the south gate. The park is free. The big archway is very Minnan style, and the plaque says "West Lake Park". Just past the archway, the lake is full of waves, boundless and handsome. Quanzhou's unique warm and humid breeze is really "warm wind makes tourists drunk, and Quanzhou should only be Hangzhou".

Standing by the lake and looking out, you will see a magnificent pavilion, which is the famous Erythrina Pavilion.

Erythrina Pavilion is located in the center of the island, with black colonnade, red glazed tiles and layered eaves, which stand out in the sky and clouds. I was curious at first why it was called "Erythrina Pavilion". Later, my friend told me that Quanzhou was called Erythrina City.

According to legend, during the Five Dynasties, Chinese envoys stayed in school. In order to expand the wall of Quanzhou, Erythrina was planted on the periphery of the city. This Erythrina thrives. When it is in full bloom, the flowers are gorgeous and beautiful. Quanzhou is surrounded by bright red, and over time it is named Erythrina City.

Quanzhou people like Erythrina flowers. According to legend, it can predict a bumper harvest year. If the leaves grow first and then bloom, this year will be a gratifying harvest year. If the leaves grow first, the situation is the opposite. So many people are looking forward to growing leaves first. A poem once wrote: "I heard from the villagers that Erythrina yehuaxian had a bumper harvest;" I am worried about the people here today, and I only love youth and not red. "

It's just that it's hard to appreciate Erythrina flowers in Quanzhou now, because the branches of Erythrina flowers are brittle and easy to break, and there are many strong winds in Quanzhou, so they are rarely planted. Fortunately, there is a Erythrina Pavilion in the West Lake Park to commemorate the past history of Quanzhou, and Erythrina flowers are also planted in the park, but I have been looking for it for a long time but I can't find it.

West Lake Park is quiet and there are not many tourists. Compared with the West Lake in Hangzhou, it looks quiet. The pavilion in the garden is surrounded by green branches, which is green at first glance and blends in with the surrounding environment.

There is a beach beside the island in the lake. The sand is neither fine nor rough, and it is half crescent-shaped. Just take the children to play with sand at ordinary times.

Tired of walking, find a pavilion to sit down and enjoy the vast scenery quietly. In the distance, the green hills are like Dai, and the lake is blue in front of you. Occasionally, waterfowl pass by, leaving a misty shadow. Because there is no architectural shelter, the West Lake has a very wide view, and the beautiful red image of Quanzhou Museum can be seen in the north.

I met a group of aunts singing when I left. They stood in the middle of the square, as if standing on the stage of ten thousand people, twisting their postures and forgetting to sing. Because there are no tourists, there is naturally no audience, but the aunts don't care. They sing to themselves.

The West Lake in Hangzhou is like a peerless beauty, and heavy makeup and light makeup are always appropriate. It belongs to tourists from all over the country, and pedestrians are weaving all year round, singing and dancing constantly.

Quanzhou West Lake is like a cardamom girl, hiding in the boudoir. It belongs to Quanzhou citizens, and it is very quiet every day.

This kind of West Lake makes me more pleasing to the eye, and I can enjoy the quiet nature alone.
