"You know Macao is not my real name. I've been away from you for too long, mom ... "Singing the song of Seven Sons, I took a jet boat from Hong Kong to Macau, which I've been longing for for for a long time.
"My God!" As we approach Macao, I can't help but sigh, not because Macao is beautiful, but because I found that the clear water in Hong Kong turned black and mixed together here. Dad said jokingly, "A feng shui master saw Hong Kong and Macao and said that these two places are good places to earn money. But the money earned in Hong Kong is clean, so the water is clean; Macao earns money by gambling, so the water is mixed. " After listening to this, I am more curious about this "son who came home late".
Remember the new song "Painting China" in this semester's music class? One of them sings like this: "You draw the length of the Great Wall and I will draw the bus!" " "At that time, I couldn't imagine what the bus looked like. Today, I finally saw the true face of Lushan Mountain. This is an arched building, which is the remains of St. Paul's church. The church experienced three fires, and the whole church was almost burned down. However, the remaining granite front wall is particularly majestic, and it is worthy of being a famous landmark in Macao. Because "March 8" is a transliteration of Sao Paulo, it is called "March 8 archway".
During the Spring Festival, Macao is crowded with people. Everyone takes advantage of the holiday to see the elegance of the bus. In front of the stone steps leading to the March 8th, there are pots of blooming peaches and chrysanthemums, which set off the ancient March 8th more magnificently. People ran to the bus with smiles. When I got on the bus, I found many coins on a stone. My mother told me it was for prayer. Macao people believe in making money, hoping to exchange coins for a year's fortune. I gently stroked the hard stone wall of March 8th, wishing to travel through time and space to pursue her original appearance. ...
I reluctantly got off the bus and continued to visit Macao with curiosity. On the way to the second stop in Mazu Tempel, my mother told me the origin of the Portuguese name of Macau. It is said that when the Portuguese came to Macau, they didn't know the name of this place. So he went to Mazu Tempel, the most populous city, to ask questions. The local people thought he asked the name of the temple and told him it was Mazu Tempel. The Portuguese translated homophones into place names. It was not until 1999 that we recovered Macao, and it has been 10 years since this year.
When I came to Mazu Tempel, my eyes lit up: there were more people here than there were people on the bus. Almost everyone has a handful of incense in his hand, which is more lively than the temple fair in Beijing. In the fragrant fog, the statue of Mazu looms, showing a mysterious color. In front of the statue, many people closed their eyes, held high incense sticks and prayed sincerely, hoping that Mazu would bring them good luck and peace. Someone wrote a wish on a small ball of light, hoping that wind energy could reach Mazu's ear.
Macau is a famous gambling city. Of course, all the places we visited were famous casinos (I only visited the non-casino area because I was less than 18 years old)-the old Portuguese capital like a birdcage, the new Portuguese capital like a feather, and the Venetian like a palace. In the Grand Canal Square of the Venetian, I felt as if I was under the blue sky and white clouds and came to a lively and quiet water town. Listening to the melodious songs of sailors on the beach and watching the pedestrians coming and going in the street, no one can imagine that this is a lively casino.
If Hong Kong is the pearl of China, then Macau is a prosperous treasure land, and each place has its own glory, which makes people linger.
I am proud of my motherland, and the motherland is proud of the "children" who have returned!
This winter vacation, my parents took me to Macau in order to enrich my after-school life and broaden my horizons.
Although Macao is very small-turn around and walk a few steps, from one church to another; A little persistent, walking through the old street, not many times, only to find that I have returned to the starting point. But there are many famous attractions. Of course, the most distinctive feature of Macao is the casino! Unfortunately, children can't go in. Our hotel is located in fisherman's wharf, called Les hotel. Les Hotel is an elegant English hotel, quietly located at the cape of Fisherman's Wharf in Macau, emitting a touch of elegance ... Les Hotel-experience the charm of Victorian era!
Enjoy a buffet dinner at Fisherman's Wharf Africa Village (with South African barbecue theme restaurant) in the evening. The food inside is delicious! Oh, I forgot to introduce fisherman's wharf to you. Fisherman's Wharf has buildings from different countries, and people from different countries come to visit. It is not a single entertainment place, but a comprehensive leisure palace. There are many specialty shops here, as well as Lan Kwai Fong-style and European-style restaurants and bars. Later, casinos and hotels were built, blending different elements, like a small city. Just browsing, an hour or two is not enough. Coupled with the all-weather operation of 24-hour free admission, eating, drinking and having fun are suitable for men, women and children.
The next day, we went to a new road. The official name of this road is Amata Ribeiro Road, but Macao residents call it the new road, which is the main street in the urban area. There are traces of native Portuguese life everywhere.
At the starting point of the eastern end of the new road, there are flower bonsai and antique street lamps on the patterned pavement paved with gravel on both sides. This place was chosen as the starting point because the west end of the road is close to the sea. We came from a long way and finally saw the waves lapping on the shore not far away, which seemed to be more in line with people's psychological needs, and we felt very satisfied when we thought about it.
Then we went to New Yaohan. New Yaohan has eight floors, the first and second floors are cosmetics, the third floor is clothes, and the children's products are on the sixth floor. After visiting New Yaohan, we will go home.
I hate to end this short and happy journey!
