The original text of the first volume of "Qingnang Sutra": Heaven is superior and earth is inferior, Yang is odd and Yin is even. The first and sixth are members of the sect, the second and seventh are on the same path, the third and eighth are friends, the fourth and ninth are friends, and the fifty are on the same journey. Odd and even, five signs are generated, and the trend ends. The eight bodies are spread widely, and the sons and mothers are given separately. The sky and the earth are positioned, the mountains and rivers are ventilated, the thunder and wind are thin, and the water and fire are not in contact with each other. The middle five stands at the pole, controlling the four directions, with nine on one side at the back, three and seven on the side, two, eight, four and six, and a vertical and horizontal outline. Yang is used to complement yin, and yin is used to contain yang. Yang is born from yin, softness is born from hardness. Yin virtues promote prosperity, and yang virtues prosper; therefore, yang originates from yin, and yin nourishes yang. The sky follows the shape, and the earth adheres to the qi. Therefore, follow the five omens, use the Eight Diagrams to arrange the six armors, cover the eight gates, promote the five fortunes, determine the six qi, clarify the virtues of the earth, and establish the way of humanity. Due to changes, the original and the end are beginning. This is called transformation. Explanation: The maximum set is derived from the non-maximum set. Principles reside in the aura, and the aura gathers in tangible objects. The sun, moon, and stars are formed by the rise of hard energy, and the mountains, rivers, and trees are formed by the downward knotting of soft energy. To help Yang prosper and develop, it must be done with Yin. Yang qi must have an image, and yin qi must have a position. The earth has four forms, and Qi comes and goes from all directions. External Qi shapes shapes, and internal Qi generates all things. If the Qi is exposed to wind, it will disperse, if it is adjacent to water, it will stop.
