It is said that there are terraces in the south, but you would never think that there are such spectacular terraces in the north.
Although it is not as famous as Yuanyang Terrace, when you stand on the top of Phoenix Mountain where Qinba Mountain passes and see the terrace, you will definitely fall in love with it!
This is the largest ancient terraced field group found in the northwest of China. It was built by Huguang immigrants who settled in Hanyin in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and has a history of nearly 300 years.
Surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing the unique Han River landform, the air is fresh and humid, and residents live long. It's a treasure trove of feng shui!
At this time, the patchwork terraces are all blooming rape flowers, stretching for dozens of kilometers and everywhere, and golden yellow permeates the space of the entire spiral ancient terraces.
Gu Feng terraces mainly include Fengjiang terraces and Yanping terraces, which are located in Huanglong, Yin Zhong, Cigou and Yanping Village, Vortex Town, Hanyin County, Ankang City.

Huanglong village
Huanglong village is a good place to watch rape terraces. In spring, there are oxen pulling plows in rice fields, and golden rape flowers are connected together. Under the blue sky, the scenery is unique.
Cigou village
Cigou village, also known as the flower house, is a glorious chapter written by Wu after he immigrated to Shaanxi. The greenhouse is called a greenhouse because it has carved beams and painted buildings, hollowed out doors and windows, and the owner of the greenhouse grows flowers and plants, which are fragrant and elegant.
To the east, facing the greenhouse, there are thousands of acres of fertile terraces in Cigou. Formed a poetic picture of "terraced fields by the river and sweat everywhere on the mountain"!
Yanping village
Yanping village is the earliest place where Hunan and Hubei immigrants came and lived, and has been growing with their own hands and wisdom. Here, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the extension platform, which is very spectacular!
3. Introduction of Yanfeng Ancient Terrace
Yanfeng Ancient Terrace is located in Vortex Town, Hanyin County. According to textual research, the ancient platform was built after the Wu family in Changsha County, Hunan Province moved to the local area in the Qing Dynasty. Since the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Yuxian County has been built on a large scale at the same time, with a history of more than 250 years.
When spring is in full bloom, the rape flowers here are in full bloom, all over the mountains and plains, and they are golden. It seems that the ancient terraces are covered with a golden coat, and the scenery is particularly intoxicating. The Three Gorges of Hanjiang River is located in Shiquan County. The Hanjiang River in Shiquan section enters the canyon area, and the narrowest part, such as Lianhua Gudu, is only 50 meters.
The peaks face each other, more than 300 meters above the river, and the valley slope is 50~60 degrees. Especially in limestone areas, three famous canyons, namely Phoenix Gorge, Liuxi Gorge and Xiangbai Gorge, are formed, with a total length of 35 kilometers. Here, the Han River is like silk, like forging brocade, with green hills and white walls on both sides, and fishing songs in the river at night. It is a scene of Jiangnan water town and is known as "Qinba Landscape Gallery".
: 4. Self-driving route
1. There are two routes to reach Yanfeng Station.
Line 1: Xi 'an-Baomao Expressway (Xikang section) 220km- Ankang-Shi Tian Expressway 6 1km- Hanyin County-Hanxuan Town 4 1.6km- Wozhen.
Note: Hanyin-Vortex Town crosses Phoenix Mountain with good road surface and many bends. Please drive carefully, don't overtake, and control the speed.
2: Xi 'an-Baomao Expressway (Xikang Section) 220km- Ankang-Baomao Expressway (An Chuan Section) 59km- Haoping Town, Ziyang County -45km- Vortex Town.
Note: There are few cars on this line, and the first 80% of the roads are in good condition. After entering Hanyin, the road conditions are slightly worse and cars can pass. There is a route along the Han River, which is very beautiful.
