Nanwan Monkey Island is about 14km away from Lingshui County, located in the South China Sea and surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is the only island macaque nature reserve in China and even the world.
The island has a beautiful ecological environment and a large number of national second-class protected animals, macaques. It is an eco-tourism scenic spot integrating ecological protection, scientific research, tourism and popular science education.
