Hezhou Environment of Hemianshi Reservoir

Forest is the largest natural lung of human beings. It spits out the old and absorbs the new, providing the freshest air for mankind. But walking into Bixi Haizi, I feel that Bixi Haizi is also a natural big lung in Hezhou, eastern Guangxi.

A few years ago, a friend from Guangdong visited Bixi Lake and told me that I had seen the sea many times, but I didn't expect to see such a large inland Haizi in Fuchuan. Speaking of Shi Gui Reservoir, it is easy to think of a pool of water supported by a dam. Even after I have been to Huashan Lake, Hejiang Three Gorges (Heheshi Reservoir), Shidong Reservoir and Shachong Reservoir, I feel that all the reservoirs are just a string of clear water between green mountains and green waters. And when I got on the motorboat of Bixi Haizi Marine Police and soared on the blue sea, the fear of sinking into the bottom of the sea to feed the big fish really made me feel the vastness and incredible of the sea!

Hebianshi Reservoir, the largest hydropower station in Hezhou, was originally a reservoir area formed by the nearby Grand Canyon. It takes four or five hours for tourists to take the Hejiang Three Gorges cruise ship, with a storage capacity of about 200 million cubic meters, while the storage capacity of Bixi Haizi, which is nearly 100 kilometers away from the clutch lion, is 600 million cubic meters, twice that of the riverside stone reservoir! No wonder people call Bixi Lake Haizi.

Bixi Haizi is most associated with the beautiful image of a girl. The motorboat is about 20 kilometers from the end of the reservoir in the south of Fuchuan to the river dam, which takes half an hour. There is no garbage along the way and on the shore, and the water quality is as clear as a mountain stream. Hundreds of streams from the source of Hejiang River converge to Bixihaizi. Before entering the Shi Gui Grand Canyon, they were stirred in an artificial Haizi with a width of several kilometers, a length of more than ten kilometers and a depth of twenty or thirty meters. On a windless day, the water waves are half a meter high, and purifying nature is like the lungs in the human body. Finally, one day, Hezhou, 50 kilometers downstream of Haizi, will also drink the sweet fresh water here.
