On that day, the schedule for the family visit in Changxing was full. In the morning, I worshiped my mother Zang’s ancestral temple in Jiapu Town, and in the afternoon I was arranged to go to the mountains over in Shuikou Township to pay homage to my ancestors.
So, after lunch, we came to Shuikou Township from Jiapu Town. The two places are very close to each other, less than ten kilometers by car.

p>Guzhu Village in Shuikou Township is like a green picture scroll. Houses on the mountain are dotted all over the hillside, surrounded by bamboo forests and flowers and trees. The scenery here is breathtaking. It is one of the famous "tea culture" resorts in China and has always been famous for its specialties "Purple Bamboo Shoot Tea" and "Jinsha Spring".
Relying on the advantages of ecological environment, this place has been built into the largest farmhouse gathering area in northern Zhejiang. Whether on weekdays or holidays, there is an endless stream of tourists from Shanghai and Jiangsu.
There is the famous Tanggong Tea Garden nearby. Now it has been built into a five-star scenic spot, with a large expanse of antique Tang Dynasty buildings, the same size as the Xi'an Grand Furong Garden.

There are also many families with the surname Zang living here in Shuikou Township for a long time.
The ancestors of the Zang family migrated to the Jiapu and Shuikou areas of Changxing in the early years and have thrived to this day. According to statistics, there are still about 1,200 households with the Zang surname in the ten villages in Jiapu Town and Shuikou Township. More than three thousand people.
Most of the Zang family’s cemeteries are clustered on the mountainside in Shimatou Village, Guzhu, Shuikou Township, not far from the nearby tomb of Song Prime Minister Zhang Dun.
On our way up the mountain, we could see the tomb site of Zhang Dun (Song Dynasty) and the stone figures and horses.
I checked online: local people have always said that this tomb is the cemetery of the Zang family, a famous family in Changxing. The "Changxing Place Names" records: "The highest tomb in the group of tombs is probably the tomb of "Yuan Opera" "The tomb of Zang Maoxun, a scholar from Changxing in the Ming Dynasty who was the editor of "Selection", "Because it was still stolen in the previous life, it is certain that this is a Song tomb, but there is no final identification of the surname Zhang or Zang, and it is now a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
We stopped the car not far from Zhang Dun’s tomb, and started hiking up the mountain under the leadership of our elder cousin.
After passing through tall and dense bamboo forests, across the tea gardens planted along the mountain, and on a hillside behind clusters of bayberry trees, we arrived at our destination.
Under the guidance of our eldest cousin, our brothers and sisters bowed and knelt in front of the cemetery of Zang Wensheng, our mother’s ancestor...
Through the guidance and explanation of our eldest cousin, we brothers and sisters looked around. Go, the back of the ancestral tomb is surrounded by mountains on three sides, a U-shaped terrain, and the front faces a large and open field of vision. The eyes pass through the low hillside in front of it and the bamboo forests, tea fields, and bayberry trees on the hillside, extending to the low places in the distance. , until Taihu Lake.
This is a treasure land with excellent Feng Shui. No wonder the ancestors of the Zang family have chosen this place to stay after their deaths for thousands of years.
At this time, the mountain breeze was blowing on our faces, and we looked up into the distance. We, brothers and sisters, traveled thousands of miles from Beijing to my mother’s ancestral home of Jiapu and Shuikou in Changxing County to visit relatives and worship our ancestors. In front of our ancestral graves on the mountain, This can finally be said to have put an end to our family's worries.
Although it was my first time to come to Xingxing, Huzhou, on this day, from the ancient water town Jiapu to the mountains of Shuikou Township, the beautiful mountains, the scenes before me made my heart surge and I could not calm down.
Here, the four words "outstanding people and outstanding people" are deeply engraved in my heart.
