Causes of deformed gourds:
1. Poor pollination, uneven distribution of pollen, making the parts with insufficient pollination appear sunken.
2. Too high or too low temperature will affect the photosynthetic efficiency, resulting in insufficient nutrition, inhibiting the development of the fruit, and forming deformed melons.
3. Improper water and fertilizer will produce deformed melons. Insufficient supply of fertilizer and water in the early stage of zucchini sitting melons will easily form sharp-mouthed melons. Insufficient fertilizer and water in the mid-term will easily form thin-waisted melons. Insufficient fertilizer and water in the later stage will form slender and crooked melons.
4. Bisexual flowers form fruits, causing deformities.
5. Viral diseases often cause tumors or deformities in melon strips.
