Qingzhou Queshan Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.
Queshan is located 20 kilometers west of Qingzhou City, Weifang and east of Diaozhuang Village, Shaozhuang Town. Queshan is 528 meters above sea level. It has steep mountains, dense forests, numerous caves, flowing mountain springs, and a pleasant climate. It is famous for its natural ecological beauty, and it has courtyards built on the mountain and scenery with caves. Since the Tang Dynasty, large-scale mountain fairs have been held in Queshan around the 15th day of the third lunar month, attracting tourists all year round. The existing ancient steles from the Kangxi and Qianlong reigns record the historical evolution and architectural construction of Queshan. Dozens of ancient trees such as ancient cypresses, ginkgo trees, and white cypress trees (tassels) planted in the Song Dynasty still exist. They have ancient and vigorous branches and dragon claws, adding a sense of history to the scenic spot.
