Surrounded by mountains, Cenxi, Xu Xi and Xi Shi pass through the village. The village is built by the river, and both sides and alleys are paved with stone slabs. The road turns with the water, winding and stretching for miles. Outside the main street, the houses are scattered and undulating, which is a natural and simple pastoral scenery.

The ancient town of Chaji ranks first in southern Anhui. It is the largest existing ancient residential complex in China, stretching for ten miles. The main scenic spots are concentrated along the Xu Xi from the entrance of the village to Honglou Bridge.
