Yan Shisan: A swordsman is lonely all his life.

Wen/San Liang Dusk

As a post-9s generation, I can only say that I am sorry that I was born too late, so that I came into contact with Mr. Gu Long's works mostly through film and television works, while I seldom read his novels.

Yesterday, I watched a movie adapted from Mr. Gu Long's novel: The Sword of the Third Young Master. After reading it, I can only say that I was impressed by the man named Yan Shisan.

In the world of martial arts, I like two kinds of people best, one is a swordsman and the other is a swordsman. I have an almost paranoid love for both, so these two kinds of people often appear in my own writing. The swordsman is crazy, and the swordsman is solitary. There is no doubt that Yan Shisan belongs to the "solitary" swordsman.

At the beginning of the movie, Yan Shisan appeared in cold blood, and killed Qualcomm with vertical and horizontal fencing, while the spectators cheered for the Third Young Master. At that moment, I suddenly felt that Yan Shisan's back was so naturally bleak, and his roar looked so weak and sad. Yes, he is a peerless swordsman, but he lives in the shadow of Xie Xiaofeng, the third young master of Excalibur Villa. He practices fencing hard in order to defeat Xie Xiaofeng and clear his name. He wants to tell Jianghu people that it is not only the sword of the Third Young Master that is so fast in this world.

He wants to tell the world that he is Yan Shisan, not the so-called Third Young Master.

He came to Excalibur Mountain Villa with his sword, trying to find Xie Xiaofeng, the best swordsman in the world, but he learned that Xie Xiaofeng was dead. So he split Xie Xiaofeng's memorial tablet in a rage and carved a cross on the boat in the canoe leading to Excalibur Villa. Then, he threw the sword that had followed him for twenty years and killed countless people into the middle of the lake. At that moment, my heart seemed to sink into the bottom of the lake with the sword, ready to withstand the erosion of time.

The only opponent is dead, and no one can make the swordsman draw his sword. Loneliness is terrible, especially for swordsman.

Although he is still alive, his soul has gone to the grave. So he bought the coachman's carriage and wine and went to Baihua Forest. So he bought the guy who lived in the grave keeper's house and buried the dying grave keeper. At this moment, he became a grave keeper, guarding the rest of his life.

unlike Xie Xiaofeng, he killed so many people in his first half of his life that when they met, they were still burdened with inner condemnation. He is just a pure swordsman, and the swordsman only follows his own heart, so he saved the villagers, so he slaughtered the wicked. Unlike Xie Xiaofeng, he has so many emotional entanglements. He is just a pure swordsman, and his sword is everything in his eyes.

In the movie, Yan Shisan played by Peter Ho is ugly, ferocious and terrible. I don't know if it is the same in the original, but even so, it doesn't matter. For a swordsman like Yan Shisan, looks are no longer important. He is a swordsman who has been chasing all his life, a lonely swordsman, and a swordsman who vows to clear his name.

although thousands of people have gone!

At the end of the movie, Yan Shisan finally stood opposite the third young master on a high cliff. Holding their swords, they look serious and have a serious attitude. There is bound to be a showdown between them, and the greatest respect is to go all out.

In the movie, Xie Xiaofeng broke his thirteen swords of death, and he died by the sword of Xie Xiaofeng. After all, he is only a supporting role, and Xie Xiaofeng, the protagonist, can't die.

after watching that duel, I felt very sad and glad. Sadly, one of my favorite swordsmen died, but fortunately, this swordsman finally stopped suffering from fate. Compared with the ending in the movie, what I like better is the ending arranged by Mr. Gu Long for Yan Shisan in the original book.

this is the fate of a swordsman.
